never been on one of these sites before so bare with me, is ther anyone out there who can help me as im pulling my hair out. ive been given a mission to go to the taemoco diamond mine to get some dynamite to blow a pipeline up but every time ive got to the dynamite and picked it up it doesnt seem to recognise its been retrieved as it is still showing the red destination ring on my map and wont adcance me to the pipeline???? i hpoe this has made sense to somebody out there who can help me.

All I can recommend is to go to the last save before that mission and start it again.

The mission is not complete(hence the red ring) until you take the dynamite from the mine, to the pipline and plant it where it will blow a hole in it.

thank you for your input and sugestion but the red ring stays on the mine indicating that its still there to be retrieved even after i have picked it up? there are no other destinations on my map to go to i.e the pipe line as the map still rings the mine as the destination to pick up the dynamite, even though i have.??????

Well sounds like you ran into a bug that can happen occasionally in Farcry 2. If you have no save to fall back to then you are basically screwed. It has happened to me before as well so you are not alone when it comes to frustrating bugs such as this one. It sounds like you may have to start over. If you do start over then have two or three saves that you use so that you always have one to fall back to incase a bug such as the one you have happens. I understand how frustrating it is to get that far in the game and have to start over because it has happened to me mulitiple times back in the day before they came out with save game fix patch. The game still has some bad bugs in it and they will never be fixed by Ubisoft. The game is fun and I still love it, but you need to accept the fact that sometimes the game can break. Like I said, have multiple saves and you should not have any problems passing the game. Hope this helps in some way.

I've been in the same situation but today, after a week, I learned that after you pick up the dynamite you have to take the car and look for the white sign on the road that indicates "Pipeline". There you will find the pipeline where to place the dynamite.
