Accusing a single employee is simply idiotic. A game can by no means depend on the decisions and work of a single employee, here Atmon. Whatcha know, now you're the idiot   Just go back to far cry 1 everybody. I've managed to get the enemies to fly, bet FC2 can't do that!  EDIT: Jesus crap, I read through some of the posts here and omgosh, how mature can one seriously be? 50% of all posts accuse admins to be stupid/something. It simply isn't realistic, get it into your mind. Hope you release the patch soon though, it's been a looooooong time. |

You must have money to throw away then Theman550 Farcry 2 should have never been released in the state it was released as, Its dire its rubbish and its defiantly not worthy of the "Farcry" title. And to make matters worse the support and customer care from Ubi is pathetic. If I could get my money back for the waste of money of a game called "Farcry 2" then I would but I cant, and they know that. I wont be rushing out to buy another Ubisoft title for a long long time... its a farce. Why oh why release a game that needs patching so much, im not even going to state why it needs patching... read the boards. And this is by no means an attempt to turn this topic into a war, I guess im just upset that it wasn't up to my expectations, I may as well have chucked the $$ on the fire, all that PR campaign and the games playability or lack of it is worthless. And then you get Ubi representatives starting threads about a new patch in the coming days ? (3 weeks later nothing) Blah.. im not posting again, I uninstalled FC2 some 2 months ago ! Obviously, Ubisoft isn't ready to release the patch date yet.
Without any new info to give out - remember, Atmon isn't the one who's actually working on the patch - there's not much he can really do. If he says nothing at all, then the community blasts him for being silent and ignoring everyone. If he comes out and says something like "we're still working on it", then he gets blasted for not giving more info, and told to STFU unless he has something more to say. Black Widow, BTOG, myself, and the other mods are just as much in the dark as everyone else here. The only thing we can do is to keep bugging them behind the scenes, but if they're not ready to release any info, then it doesn't really matter too much.   |

Yes Brimtown.You are right...I think it's better that patch will be release later,but succeful,than early and not so good.I think that UBI dev. team think about theirs's work not less than us....Far Cry 2 is one of better games all the times..Let just wish them all..

Yep, I'm a rich MoFo. Anyway, that wasn't my point. I never _ever_ said I liked the support for fc2, but I do know out of common sense that some unrelated volunteering admin cannot be responsible for slow releases. They don't have anything to do with it! Stop accusing the admins, it's so unfair. |

One log of a desperate man who Ubisoft were too late for. He has since passed away.
