I was playing multiplayer for the first time tonight and it seemed that every team game the host would put all the high ranking players on one team and all the new players on another , also they would have the extra player were possible .
Is this cowardly behaviour normal? Each match was obviously then a one sided slaughter . |

Welcome to FC2!
The imbalanced teams are one of the biggest problems in MP and i can't understand why ubi forgot(?) the option. (NO, the shuffle is not a solution, especially if you have to VOTE!) The host isn't changing the teams (or maybe i haven't noticed that he CAN...?), the high-ranked players seem to be quicker with changing the teams. But it's not always like that, there are still people who like "fair" teams. (At least teams where the game will not be a total massacre that ends 100 - 35, and after 7min. half the "noob-team" is gone...). |

i'll just not bother playing multiplayer , cant be botherd waiting 10 mins for a game to start , lobby system is awful .
I'll stick to one player , theres too many other good games to play online than a one sided bore fest. |

Player Matches are usually balanced, especially if everyone is given all 18 diamonds. Player matches are much better than ranked anyway.

Player-matches would be much better, if they weren't 1 vs.1, at best 2 vs. 3 on a big map most of the time... .
Ok, that can be fun too, especially 'cause there are really nice maps to play on... ...but if you could "force" people to play a bit more honorable, with a "balanced..."-option, a higher penalty for leaving, a "games left"-line in the (so precious!) stats etc., people that play for FUN could enjoy ranked matches also. (Maybe in FC3, nothing seems to change here anymore... |

I´ve seem this same problem almost in every multiplayer game where is level-based game play system and it´s not going to disappear anywhere as long as those stupid levels exists. Because everything you do in game is saved in your stats, where everyone can see them. Of course those so called "pro" players wants to have as good stats as possible, so it will eventually end up as things like unbalanced teams. Nowadays there are two different gamer types: oldskool gamers who play for fun, but unfortunately there are also those who are nothing more than just point whores. They are only interested of gathering points and good stats, so everyone could see how big their "virtual penis" is. They use every possible way to make better stats, like playing unfair, using glitches etc..

i agree that it happens alot and may not always seem fair, but ultimately you can only use one gun at a time, so whether you are a level 4 or a level 19 you can still be using the exact same gun, the only difference is the experience level. me being at level 14 doesnt make me any less vulnerable to a half decent sniper, or someone with a MAC 10 sneaking up behind me.
i know alot of people switch onto the hosts team to avoid some douchebag host banning them for killing him. and alot of people switch teams to be with other players with mics, and ones who know wtf they are doing, i dont want to play with someone who is gonna steal the diamond and then wander around, or a captain who sits in one spot and snipes on uprising. yea it sucks when you are just starting out but playing against better players makes you better. and i fully agree on there needing to be a HUGE penalty for leaving mid game in ranked, like loss of a diamond. that would prevent cheating boosters with 1000+ consecutive wins... right now the few hundred xp you lose is nothing when u have 100,000+ points most players can earn that back in the first half of a game. ultimately, ranked matches are about finding a decent host/group of players and sticking with them yea there are times when you will beat up some noobs and other games when the teams are even, unfortunately tho its not gonna change, cus people want the ability to play with their friends all on one team, if they all happen to be higher levels then the 8 strangers on the opposition it just means the lower ranks need to play smarter and work a lil harder, [360 gamertag chrisisbored24 ] |

Join the APR team. In my experience all the higher ranked players end up there by default or switch over from UFLL. Ive no problem with ranked games to be honest, but no match is worth playing unless the hardcore mode is on. Too many shots to a kill.

Hi !
@ Hetzer: like CIB said, people join the host and he starts APR. And you autom. join UFFL when number of players is equal, so you normally can't change from APR to UFFL. I agree 100% with the hardcore mode. Should be displayed BEFORE you join a game, i keep jumping in and out and that's annoying! (For the hosts too, i guess...) |

Welcome. To the game that allows players to decide who goes on what team.
Now, the host can stack the odds against his nooby enemy, and give himself the advantage for a guaranteed victory. Good enit? lmao! _______________________________________________________________________________________________ http://ell635-gaming.blogspot.com/ |

3 good (actual pro) players can carry the low levels and beat the leaderboard point grabbers anyday, as long as they dont get banned in the process
