I'm certainly in no place to criticize Ubi on the way they put out their dev-blog (they're under no obligation to give us one at all), but I'll make a couple of suggestions. First, make them regular. Putting them up on a fixed schedule will instantly halt any "when's the next one" complaints. Plus, fairly regular tidbits of information keep people interested and keep the forum from grinding to a halt. Second, fill them out a bit more. Now I don't mean you need to post the entire plot summary but, well, here's an example.

In the "IN-GAME CHARACTER MODEL" update, the only real data presented was a polygon range and the fact that characters are generated from a bank of parts. (I don't think anyone was shocked by the mention of shaders and normal mapping.) The update could have been spiced up very easily though. 6 - 12,000 polys, you say? About how many does this Dredlocked fellow here consist of? Interchangeable character parts? How many different types of sections? About how many combinations are there currently? Might you possibly add more?

Even though they wouldn't reveal much information, a few little tidbits like that, even if not finalized, would make the blog seem much more informative, and much more rewarding to read. It might even cut down on the whining I have to wade through on the forum.

It would definitely be nice to see some multiplayer or map editor details!

Also I saw a video interview with Susan O'Connor posted a few weeks back but it vanished before I got a chance to watch it. Blink Where did it go?

I would like to see some info regarding an SDK. Will there be one? Will there be some sort of new version of the Sandbox editor that Far Cry 1 and Crysis had? I'm not just talking about a map editor, I'm hoping that we'll have the opportunity to create full mods for Far Cry 2, since the Dunia engine has so many unique features.

Agreed, maybe a section for:
What they're doing for us today
What they should've been doing for us 5 minutes ago.
