a wall/floor tool, color palette, clear glass, mirrors, ability to bend objects (within reason) working elevators, bottoms on all objects, tunnel tool, water sources so you arent limited to one level of water, possibly a flow rate for water, so say you make a river you can set the current so that it can go from slow flowing stream to white water rapids.
PLACE WEAPONS (outside of your normal armament) stronger vehicles, bring back the wave runner and hover craft. maybe a small lightly armed helicopter, no apache gunship or anything tanklike or too militaristic stay along the lines of mercenary arms. movable trains, maybe not drivable, but at least if you set up a train on a looped track it can follow the track in circles but of those ideas i think a wall/floor tool and color palette/paint brush are most important i am getting so sick of GRAY everything in structure maps [360 gamertag chrisisbored24 ] |

A decent set of basic pieces. Just flat plates in different colours and materials that can be used to make your own walls, floors ect and create your own buildings. Its pretty stupid having to use the Colonial concrete fence for everything.
Some new mounted weapon types. Mortars and heavier stuff like a four barrel AA gun. Make caves and tunnels without just digging a ditch and filling in the roof. Some new interactive objects (like the water pump ect in FC2). A moving conveyor, garage doors, swing bridge. New vehicles and more to a map - FC2 has less than FCI did. A halftrack, different cars for variety, truck available to carry more than four people. Also; - use grenades and SMG from hanglider like in FCI. Much more incentive to use the glider. - more options for using weapons in a vehicle. Fair enough that the driver cant fire, but the passengers should be able to uee two handed weapons. The only decent guns to use from a car in FC2 are the Mac 10, Uzi and M79. - veicles dont stay on fire for ages after exploding. Wrecks make good cover but you get burnt standing anywhere near them and the fire doesnt go out. |

Stepping back, id like to see more freindly navigation on map editor both on the menus and moving round your map, it can be very annoying trying to do small details with the camera controlls.
Alot of the things you guys have mentioned would have been in the game had the not been limited to the landscape they where dealing with. why not more variety the better i say do it even if it is off theme more variety more fun is what it boils down to honestly like halo replicas could use teleporters. not every one wants a real map some people like the sci fy side and it would bring more people into the community. |

Single player and a zombie AI.
Just imagine it, check points, factions, and zombies! You're driving up to a checkpoint, you hit the breaks, you mount the turret, and see a horde of the undead attack the checkpoint from the jungle! Oh Noes! |

more materials for the terrain ,a seperate window to create our own complicated static meshes ie. we make a building or barn out of the stuff in the editor let us save that barn or building seperate to use elsewhere ,bots and pathnodes. seperate water plains different water textures/materials, ability to animate the water ,flowing and wavesand water falls.and a tunnelling tool of some sort.dynamic lighting for console versions (let us decide what is too laggy) more destuctible meshes bigger terrain area so we can make bigger more engrossing mountains for backdrops aqnd more realistic oceans and seaside areas shorter grasses for foliges or the ability to scale the foliages and a description bar to describe our level before pple download it and the ability to post the pics before you download so pple can see quickly if your level is interesting to them before you download thats all i can think of right now
