I've been playing Far Cry ever since it orignaly came out for the PC and i have to say that one of the key features i enjoyed about Far Cry is the map making. Yes the story was pretty good for both the PC and Xbox versions of Far Cry but one of the things I found exciting was the map making. My famaily and I like to sit down every once and a while and play split screen on the custom maps we made and im hopeing that they will deliver not only the exciting and face paced multiplayer action of Far Cry, but also some new themes, features, weapons and customization to map making in the new Far Cry. I've been looking at some of demos and interviews they've made for the game and have seen that the are focusing on the singleplayer and realism of it and am nervous to say that I have not seen anyone say anything about the map making.

If anyone knows any information about the map making or news about multiplayer please tell me.

They have said that there will be a map editer on both the PC and console versions.

Yes its offical there will be a map editor in fc2 but what worries me is!!!!!WILL IT BE GOOD OR WILL IT BE LIKE HALO 3 (in other words will it be rubbish)

Yes there will, and not like HALO 3, I think more like the original Far Cry, It was a good editor, too bad there were so many people who were **** at map making. I hope there will be somekind of point system so that you can give points if you played a map, so that in a while you can see if the map is **** or not before downloading it.

Ye i like the whole map points idea cos then you know what sort of map you are going to join and that you know you aint joining a pointless map
