Yep, got rid of the game...just gave it away but warned my buddy first there's a very good chance his game will glitch (which is why I gave it away instead of asking money for it).

I had corrupted save games that prevented me from finishing the game and I refuse to start over. Ubisoft all but ignored me when I sent them several emails regarding the problem.

I was actually enjoying the game until it happened but looking at all the problems this game has had and their refusal to acknowledge a lot of them has made it the only game I would have thrown out.

Had Ubisoft actually seemed as though they cared I would have been able to forgive them. Piece of garbage game, piece of garbage company.
I will never buy another product with their name on it again...there's so many other better companies out there to support

you do realize that they DID fix the save game issue with the patch right? unfortunately there was nothing they could do to fix already corrupted saves

Well it wasn't fixed in my case...my game was patched to the latest when I first played it (didn't buy it until recently).

The Bug(or a different one) is STILL THERE!

actually they didnt fix nothing in the patch, i still have save game issues and as do a large portion of people, they have just wasted 6 months on payroll for nothing

And good for you for getting rid of it, ill be doing the same to mine soon as Crysis comes out next year and FC2 will be used as cup holder literally, im using a perfectly new copy of halo 3 as we speak for one hehe.

How can I download the patch? Most likely xbox live right?

If I heard correctly they did not fix the save game glitch and what they did was 'reduce the chances' of it happening.

For everyone saying that the update didn't fix the save glitch - did you try starting a brand new game? Ubisoft did say that they probably weren't going to be able to do anything about the games that had already been affected, that you'd most likely have to start a new game.

yes, i tried a new campaign after the patch and yet nothing, i wish they could just undo the patch and go back to the drawing boards with it

agreed , my experience off multiplayer is waiting in a lobby for 15 minutes while people swear at each other , then the host moves all the high ranked players onto one team and the game is a boring one sided slaughter.

Actualy it's the other way around. MP is a joke compared to the first FarCry.

The only thing keeping the game alive is the mp and me if you don't have x box live or friend to system link don't buy it it is a waste of money but if you do buy it it is way better mp than halo could ever have
all halo is; is a game for those who can't play a real first shooter

well, for starters the host can not move players, second i have never waited more than 2 minutes for a game to start, you must be doing something wrong, or you need to dig deeper into your pocket and get a good internet connection
