Ubisoft already got your money so it doesn't care them |

K, I tried to justify this but I can no longer do it.
I'm returning my copy of Far cry 2 tommorow and getting a game that is not broken. Next time, hire some bug testers that test for bugs...I mean, I was ok at first when I just kept over writing my game....68% complete...it's like watching a movie guys, you want to see the end but I can not be hassled to play the game from the beginning again. The bug testers should be ashamed of themselves. |

How would you like playing through the game once, dancing around the closed door bugs by going back a few saves, but making it to the end. Then when you attempt to play it again it keeps shutting down your puter every 5 minutes or so and after 5 sessions with support telling you all about how bad my new puter is with a new 9800GT nvidia display card and dual core etc. 4 gigs of ram, 500gig HD a puter I had built to play Crysis and any other top end games. And after all the forum notes Ive read how second time playing all the trouble players are having do you think its my puter or the game LMAO

Am I one of the lucky people? I never hit a bug at 88% or 73%. Oh and it's smart to create a new file for every save so when you get problems like this, you can go back to a previous save  |

They acknowledged the problem on November 19, 2008. They are working on it, & we have hope. EAsports fixed the same problem on Nascar 09, & Ubisoft will too.

I haven't reached anywhere near 73% or 88%. I have just started playing the game on Xbox 360 and keep having to play the same mission over and over again because it won't let me save my progress. This is right at the beginning after storming the Villa and getting the guy to give the wrong coordinates. If I die which is the norm so far I keep going back to the second safe house. Even though I have saved and continued at the Villa.
It happened once before on an earlier mission but instead of creating a new save I saved over an old file. It worked. Will this work every time or am I going to have to give up now before I get further in? It would be a shame because I think this is one of the best games I've ever played. |

Man this is bad i just bought this game 3 days ago and i love it but what the hell is going on that i cant continue cus of a stupid buddy that i have to rescue from the slaughter house!! it wont update killed got killed saved loaded again still same Nick Nack!!
 ...im shelving it untill they decide to fix this. Kill Zone2 coming soon!! ubi better hurry up!! atlease give us cheatcodes like gta...that would make us all happy!!  |

If the fix for the Corrupt Saves issue coming in the form of a patch online, how are people who don't have Xbox Live going to get their games fixed?

@Zyordius... you have an internet connection don't you? If so, you'll get the patch when you load the game and it connects to the intertubes ;-). Also, you can get an XBox LIVE Silver Membership... it's free.

If you read more carefully ,you'd notice I wasn't asking about myself and the question was not for you unless you work for Ubisoft. Not everyone has the internet, so again, a question for those who work at Ubisoft, If the fix for the Corrupt Saves issue is coming in the form of a patch online, how are people who don't have Xbox Live( no internet connection of any sort) going to get their games fixed? Mell 1234 is right no software is with out it faults. One of the biggest offenders of this is Microsoft. They put out a product knowing it has problems and they will fix it later.
The Jan 28 posting by Atmon was the first by anyone from Ubi since the Nov 19. Lets keep up the tech support request, phone calls and email to Ubi. I hope the go nuts with the writing we can do. Lets make them step up and do the right thing quicker. How about we give them till the first of March to come out with the patch. Then the next phase should be a bouycot of Ubisoft products. Lets hit them in the pocket that way. I've read some want to sue. Sueing them won't do anything but make the lawyer richer and in my opinion there special place in hell for them already. We will endeavor to preserver |

I'll give bad publicity to Ubisoft & Far Cry 2, and since there are still people that want to buy the game, so every "Should i buy it" thread will have my response!!! Hello people, i get stuck at 81%. I found all the briefcase diamonds, all the jackal tapes and on the story line im after the prison, taking the next mission in the APR faction headquarter.
I have 5 saved games, two currently working but when i make a new save i get stuck again.. I have installed and uninstalled the game from the xbox 360 hd, deleted all the corrupted saved games but nothing work... Im playing on the xbox 360 XNE, always connected to the xbox live(gold member), and also i payed near 70 € for a game that i cant finish... I should not buy this game, cause i know about this bug but i thougth well maybe im lucky.. Only one question for Ubi. What smoke or drink your beta testers?... |

duel weilding weapons and customize weapons like army of two and rainbow six vegas 2 and player model damage in all game modes single player and more weapons always hungry for new weapons I would not put this game down ever then I would in fact buy people this game just so they would play it and ubi would profit I would have sex with it and marry it very good game action packed to the teeth

I'm also stuck at 69%. I realize you've recently been able to reproduce the error - just wondering if you can give us any little tidbit of information. ...nothing detailed, just something along the lines of "we're totally stumped" or "we're beginning to make progress" or "it could be a few weeks or a few months so hang in there".
...something. Anything to let us know you're all still alive.  |

Enough is enough when is the patch/update coming for Xbox? Keep getting the same answer when I submit a problem. The designers are aware of the problem................. Well how about fixing it ?????????????? How long has this game been out now?????? |

This is stupid, for how long Far cry 2 has been Released? for about 1 year. Do you very think that they are Actualy checking to find out how to repair the bug? NO. becuz for me this would take me over 1 week or so ( If i know how Creating game and stuff etc. ) but seriusly this is .I.L.E.G.A.L. It is like if i say that im Selling a full Toy For Example a plastic toy that come with a Bike but that wen you buy it the toy dosn't come with the bike. In normal Situation its just a small Error so you can go to the store and get youre God damn bike. but here EVERY one Bike's is missing and the Sellers only say thing like : It is on our list of Things to do. Wake up ubisoft you are selling Broked stuff.
