Is there any other way I can defeat this boss? I broke my thumb a year ago and it never fully healed; I can't press that button fast enough.

Use your index or middle finger to tap the button. Those fingers tap a lot faster than a thumb ever could. Have fun with the rest of the game!

Thanks, I thought of using my other fingers, but seeing how the controller was designed for thumbs, I thought it wouldn't work. It took forever, but my index finger managed to pull it off. Phew. Hope that guy stays away from me for a while so I can continue enjoying the game. Thanks again!

Most of the Warrior battles involve pushing him off the edge or into things. Use your sword attacks to push him. Sometimes you have to let him come to you, then strafe around him quick to beat him into where you want. It tends to be easiest when he form-changes and Elika has to beat on him; she does a good job pushing him back.

When you're about to knock the Warrior off, there's a quicktime event where he's about to crush you with his fat foot, then Elika swoops in. Mash X (or square) like CRAZY to help Elika shove him backwards.

I just cant hit Square button fast enough. How long do I have to keep hitting it. What should I do when Square button turns from blinking to red color.

Seriously this the worst quick time event sequence I have ever seen. Why all this complications.

If the button turns red, it means you failed. Try Zerban's suggestion from above: Use your forefinger or middle finger instead of your thumb to mash faster if that helps.

i was one of the people who took about an hour to defeat him
and when you get to that stage it does seem to b impossable so what i did was to put the controler on my leg and use my arm from the elbow down to it the button with my index finger. as soon as i tryed it this way i did it hope this helps

OMG! I've spent waaaaaaaay too long try to push this grouchy boss off the darn ledge. I've tried switching controllers, forefinger, and now I'm about to give this the serious middle finger. How many tries should this take? I've pushed him to the edge like 50 times...good god, and he just won't take the plunge. TIA!

I am trying to defeat The Warrior since yesterday but unable to do so. I have tried everything even searched the youtube. Does anybody has cheat code to defeat this monster.

Also I request Ubisoft next time dont include Press X button to defeat The Warrior. I am sure there are alternative ways to make this game intresting. I will try to defeat The Warrior again today if I cant regretfully I will swap this game with something else.

Okay, I went all the way back to an earlier save, restarted the level, and got back into it with this ogre. Took two tries. WTF?! Poor game design?

If you're having so much trouble you could just get someone else to mash it for you? I'm sure you guys have family members with fingers

Ok, problems with knocking him into the cage? Simply knock him into the back wall of the cage. After the 'mash square' thing, the Prince will kick him into the wall and the gate will slam shut.

I found the easiest way was to stand on the edge of where ever you need the warrior to go and let him come to you. He will attack and send you into quicktime event to try and push you off. Win this and at the end of the animation your positions will be reversed, with the warrior's back to the edge, and it will only take 1-2 hits to push him close enough to trigger the quicktime event to push him off the edge or cage. I have beaten him in under a minute. That's my technique.
