Can some one please tell me how to find the highest and lowest point in the game?

Highest point is when u are fighting the Alchemist and u get it while progressing through the game (cause u will have to get there).
The lowest is at the right of the temple (left if u are facing the stairs) u just walk next to the mountain and u will eventually see a cave u go in there and go as low as u are allowed to...and thats it.
