i just mean after the fact, not during.

and i don't think it's plain "matches" it's total score i.e. just ignore the fact that a 4v4 is only "1 match" it still counts as a +4 for determining the PF (at least I assume so)

I'd refer to it as weighted score. Concise yet accurate.

I'm thinking about building a more comprehensive logic into ATOMS too , I'll probably try to induct the rules after the basics rather than rely on my dodgy initial interpretations though.

With any luck, it could tell you why whatever territory was taken (or indeed, not taken) for past turns, and hopefully give predictions on results for the current turn, if you give it an assumed PF.

Ok so a proper logic was too much effort for my lazy human self, but I've got an MSF logic going which seems to hold up to boot.

Anyway

- Layout Changed (Just because I can)

-Map now had light hue to show original faction regions (which are key to showing where support limits are) If you prefer the plain version, just swap the names of the two map files.

-MSF logic displayed for concerned territory.

-Raid attacks now shown (semi-transparent) and raid logic fixed to some extent.

-Isolation logic improved (I'm now mostly sure it only applies to standard territories, and that capitals and bases are immune)

-My (cobbled together assumptions) of the ToW rules in there too.

Still no war code of course.

Hopefully it helps those who want to know about why things happen as they do. Those who mostly just complain are a step away from blaming "OMG, his gunships killed my transports" on the PF rule, it's the scapegoat.

Anyway: EW-ATOMS v1.2

You still need .NET Framework v3.5, you still download at your own risk.

Dear Ubisoft,

I have been an avid player of endwar since the game came out and I must say that I absolutely LOVE it. Unfortunately, I am writing in regards to an issue that is affecting multipls factions in varying ways. This is the attack from nowhere rule in TOW.

Simply using Reagan seabase as an example, the attack from nowhere rule is making it extremely frustrating for players of both the EEFC and the JSF. It is as some of you may know, currently a stale mate due to no progress in either direction. The EEFC players keep trying to take the territory, and are unfortunately repaid by having their squads consistently beaten and countless units killed. However, despite the consistent winning at the seabase for the JSF, they are not allowed to counterattack, for example, Glen Albyn, which is the source of the european attack, or Wilstermarsch, which they could easily do from Copenhagen, which the JSF had held for several turns without using it at all.

Thus, since reagan has been a great place for the JSF newcomers to build up their forces since their winning percentage is so high, not to mention a fun place for the JSF AND the EEFC to play, it has consistently been the JSF primary front. However, since it is considered an attack from nowhere, there is no forward progress ANYWHERE for the JSF, and the best they can do is attempt to hold on to the territories they have, and then slowly lose them, which is what the JSF has been doing now for the majority of war 2.

I am speaking as someone not representing any faction, because while this rule is certainly frustrating for the JSF, it also affects the ability of the Europeans to have a shot of making a better offensive in the northern US or at least to have the JSF come to eruopean territory and have their units killed for a change.

Ubisoft, you guys have done a wonderful job making corrections from war 1 to war 2 in order to make the playing more fair and fun for everyone. Please, PLEASE continue to provide excellent service to your players by getting rid of the attack from nowhere rule so that there can be an end to the stalemate in the northern US and a chance for the JSF to gain a territory

Ps3 War 2 isn't even on there, please fix this asap

I have been using it since around turn 30 or so in PS3 War 1, and it has been very useful

yeah it is but you have to go to the options and set it to turn 1 or in this case 3.

great tool you made.

But I have a problem with it, when I recover the Xbox360 stats, the Loadingbar is moving an if it reach 5 Bars I get this error:
"Unhandled Error during recovery and initial processing of the XML feed. Details folow:
The input string has the wrong format."

Recover of the PS3 stats works fine.

Is there anybody else who has this problem too?

it would be great, if you fix it Smile
