Basically, they lost on their primary frontline. The primary frontline for the SPZ was not Moscow and the SPZ was beaten on their primary frontline. As a result the SPZ lost their capital.

Makes sense i do think this is better then having to wait for moscow to fall russia shouldnt be able to fight back when all theyve got is moscow this adds a bit of reality to the game, you can put it down to wotever you want russia surrendered, maybe ran out of men or supplies but in real life just cause a country has a capital doesnt make it an infinite respawn point

im on the ps3 but i was confused about the fact that russia was given kurzeme in the process of lossing their capital to total domination on all the surrounding territories

oh yeah! Kurzeme!

how the hell does Russia take Kurzeme if JSF gets more wins on it? ...anyone?
