Please take note that we will be deploying the following server side fixes in the near future:

Change of Colliding Frontline Rule Patch (X360/PS3)
This patch will help resolve a situation where within two colliding frontlines two factions have a tie (both keep winning on one front and losing on the other) therefore they are stuck fighting against each other on the same territories.

Change of Victory Conditions Patch (PS3 only)
Change of victory conditions patch will speed up the victory of one faction when the conditions are right (i.e. when that faction is close to winning): 2 capitals and 30 territories will make a victory as opposed to present 3 capitals and 30 territories. Please note though that the in game UI will still show 3 capitals and 30 territories until the next patch is released - more details on that coming soon.
This patch was already deployed on X360.

Enlistment Credits (X360/PS3)
Please note that when joining the faction that has the least amount of players, the Enlistment Bonus will be augmented to 1M as opposed to 100K.

We will let you know when the patches will be deployed.

Thanks and happy holidays to all from EndWar Dev Team!

I'm glad you maybe upgraded the enlistment bonus; maybe now the teams will be more balanced.

Finally. But if one has already enlisted into the least amount faction (I believe SGB), would we still gain I Mil?

We don't delay patches for different formats on purpose. Both the 360 and PS3 versions of the game launched at the same time but the process for patching varies. Sony and Microsoft have their own patching certification process and that is what may lead to delays.

Isn't the 360 version easier to format? (Not trying to be bias toward PS3)

I would really, REALLY like to see some duplicate maps eliminated from the ToW mode somehow... or at least make the new maps available in ToW for ppl who bought them... I haven't even played em yet!

Also, we need more upgrades! Nothing really unique or special (altho it'd be nice), just something to spend our credits on and motivate us to level units up to legendary. This would also give more incentive to kill units as well.

And finally, please let us retrian units with extra cash, I got 50 mil in the bank just rotting away.

Oh yea one more thing, the top 10 players weekly per faction should get something or be able to do something special. Like face off against the top 10 of the other factions on a special terriotry reserved only for top commanders. Who knows, maybe getting a win wouldn't neccesarily get anything special, but it would be nice to be rewarded/be able to affect the ToW mode moreso if you're contributing so much to the war effort.

Easier to format right in the hardware backbone, that is a well-known fact so I can't see how anyone would disagree independent of their personal investments.

But I don't think the patching process would be slower on the PlayStation 3 as the backbone of the optimization already is there and it basicly is just tweaks. Well - with that said I'm not a programmer, but the platform is already set.

-

In future -PATCHES- I'd like to see more Batalion Camos/colors, either for free, via achievements or with credits as it was one of the coolest things with Rainbow Six Vegas 2 as there was even some pink camo for high-ranked players. I'd also want to see a little different Support system, with cooldowns for FR, EW and AirStrikes - this to promote investing resources in units rather than in idiocy. And having a cooldown on units called in outside your batalion support would also be nice. So if you're playing a Armored Batalion you should only be able to call in two(or whatever) Gunships directly whenever you'd wish and then have a cooldown before further recruit support can be called in.

*GIVE QUITTERS A PENALTY RATHER IN BOTH CREDITS AND EXPERIENCE*

Small list of what I'd like to see:
- Picture-in-Frame animations shouldn't get interupted by player actions.
- Give players ability to hand-pick which Unit that should be deployed in the game just like in the pre-deployment lobby (such as unit ranks and names showed).
- Unit names should get randomly picked outside your batalion support. If you have ability to handle four Transport Units for your Batalion Configuration it should pick random names for the entire FACTION once a recruit is sent in to replace a killed unit.
For example I've had three Units called "Rhine" at the same time in my batalion, and never even encountered any of the names in my batalion popping up in-game after you've sent in recruits to fill up your incapacitated units.
- Make "Storm Building" useful via one tweak or another.
- Add the DLC Mappack to the ToW as soon as the next mappack comes out (always rendering the current one free of charge).
- Add more abilities and purschases and make these visually stand out more than they do today. Like adding another suit for the Infantry or such when improving an ability or Defensive - just like when you upgrade Transport HP upgrades.

That's what I can come up with right now. There aren't too many flaws with the game, but there are some wierd and uncessesary ones around.

All posts EFEC, Xbox 360.

Awesome. I'm glad that this was addressed. Any idea on what the patch will actually change though? That piece of information will certainly effect strategy.

Any chance you can pass a hint to just end the ps3 ToW and declare a winner...instead of pulling strings in the background to finish it.
