Also, though Conquest mode seems to no longer be part of the game, here is a good description of the "All deepstrike" tactic that is used by a lot of people in Conquest mode. I'm ripping this from the SGB forum, mainly because FenrisWolf did such a good job of explaining it. Either use this to your advantage (it is VERY hard to defend against) or be aware that many players might try to use this on you:

"Easy Russian tactic for you guys playing on Springfield. (1v1 games)

Start out with CV and 2 Riflemen. Send 1 to Z
and 1 to W. Deploy a 3rd riflemen off the bat and have him secure B.

use your UAV from the CV to scout around while your CP is building (be fast cuz as you capture command points you'll get lots very quickly) and find out of either S or F is safe to deepstrike. Then deep strike and and secure it. (start upgrading Z B and W if you can. I prefer L3 Air Strikes). It won't take long to do another deep strike, and when you can either hit D or A. then whichever you didn't take (D or A) go and deepstrike that... and so on. Keep screwing with them and make them run circles.

Tips: leave each rifleman at their respective uplinks (they are great defense and should already be in cover)
if they are sending infantry to make a quick grab to secure an uplink, upgrade it to stop them (or change the upgrade if you already upgraded it)
*be efficient! if you have 12 CP that means you're losing money (every second that passes with 12 CP, your not getting any more)
*be efficient 2! if you have 8 or more CP and are about to finish securing an uplink, deploy somthing (another rifleman maybe?) or use a mission support. Because as soon as you finish securing it, you'll get 4 more CP and some of it will be wasted. - ok so that one was tied into the other one, but still something you should keep in mind.
If you don't have your UAV ability on the CV, then don't even bring it out. Instead just start with 3 riflemen. The CV's only usefulness in this tactic is to scout out a safe spot and MAYBE use the UAV to kill artillery or tanks if they are left ungaurded for whatever reason. Your riflemen can kill everything else.
Put riflemen in best possible spot: I've noticed that after securing and upgrading B (they do this at many of the uplinks, just using bravo as an example) the riflemen are covered at a corner facing my starting point. Well cool, they're already in cover, but lets put them forward shall we? Cover them on the side facing where they will come from. Same goes for Delta, Alpha, bla bla bla.
*Evac whichever riflemen is at the uplink they crash. The uplink is gone... what is there for your guy to defend? Evac him alive and get a few free CP out of it.
If you deepstrike to a place that they have infantry at... don't fret... just make sure they start securing it as fast as possible (they'll be in cover and if they are going to die, you might as well try to get the quick 4 CP from them before they do). NEVER run away from an uplink just because there is stuff there. if you do that you'll prolong the time your not in cover and you'll shorten the life or your riflemen.

It's a cheap tactic, but heck, it works most of the time and if your already having a bunch of trouble at springfield, then give this a try. You'll be surprised.

*Edit*
For those who don't know, this is the deepstrike process:
First of all deepstrike costs 6CP by itself *this does NOT count the cost to deploy the rifleman* so make sure you have 10 CP (or have 6+ and are about to finish securing an uplink) or 8 CP if the match has entered defcon.
Now the easiest way to do this is to deploy the rifleman and then use the voice command "Unit x move to Foxtrot" replace x with the rifleman currently on it's way to the battlefield."

Domination baby, i woke up this morning to a wonderful suprise. the JSF won EVERY SINGLE SOLITARY BATTLE YESTERDAY. RUSSIA HAS 1 territory left in the US. SO i ask all JSF players with a lessthan 90% win record to play in europe and leave Grissom to the top commanders, this way we will have driven THE RUSSIAN OUT...HELL YEA

I wonder when all the noobs will stop playing. I will have to say that I gave up on this war once COD5 came out. Who wants to sit and play endwar all day, win your battles and still lose the battlefield the next day. Its bull****!!!

I think that what we should do next war is to have all of our top commanders 80% + win %, attack certain areas, and our not so good commanders attack somewhere else. Yes, we basically will be giving a battlefield up, but we also will be gaining ground to.

Does anyone know if next war we will still keep our ranks and upgrades?

Let's just hope we win the two raids on Maxwell and Campbell. If Maxwell can be stopped for 3 turns and we hold our ground, maybe we can push back. But I have a question. Since we are currently winning Pamlico but losing Chat and Oke, does that mean we'll lose Pamlico also?

(PS3) JSF 14th Assault

NOOBS STAY AWAY FROM GRISSOM! I just got done playing a couple 2v2 matches and had nothing but freaking noobs as my ally. QUIT give up on the game YOU SUCK! No reason to play. I mean when you beat the Story Campaign on easy doesn't mean you'll actually do good on the TOW!

that is way too harsh... everyone starts out new, i just want them to learn by playing the story mode on elite at least, and then get some human vs human expericence by playing the Euros. no reason to tell them to stop playing the game

ATTENTION JSF

It is improtant that we KILL every unit we get the chance to. We can hang in there, and gain back ground, especially if we dont have to worry about stacked Enemy units. It may be messed up, but it's even more messed up to let legendary tanks of SPZ survive, and let them cause a follow JSF member to lose a battle, or even get his legendary transports KIA. It's cool, play it off, say "THats messed up, nobody do that" but when u get back in the action, you know what to do, do it for america, If u have a enemy unit down, and have nothing else to shoot at, KILL IT for America's own good. hahahahahahahahaha...jk, but seriously, we need their units killed

Whether we like to admit it or not, we must be upfront about the fact that we have not faired so well in Territories where we do not have some sort of support. The trick: aggressiveness. Especially against the EFEC, you are used to not having Air Support against us and usually rely on maneuverability, keep them off guard by hitting them HARD. You can not out pace them, so instead go for the throat and overwhelm them with force. I recommend a focus on Tanks. So long as you deal with the tough EFEC choppers, every other unit in the EFEC arsenal (Artillery and other Tanks as well) will fold to our Schwartzkopfs.

That is my exact strategy against the EFEC. I have had one good fight against them since I started using it, and I still won it, every other fight was a slaughter that resulted in numerous victories that took less than 5 minutes. All victories have been on Maxwell because that was the most important... even though it was all on a lost cause.

Nice job guys, we're still winning on most of the US maps. I guess the Europeans were wrong when they said we weren't anything without our air support!
And congratulations to the JSF on the PS3, I hear you guys are slaughtering some Russkies and Euros!

Newbs are not the problem noobs are. Case in point, I did a 2v2 earlier where my teammate who was clearly not new to the game, yet was a noob, over extended himself far to quickly and got swamped by the other team. He then started to berate me for not stoping what I was doing and helping him out. I guess he thought the air strikes were acts of God or something. Needless to say I let lose on him in the post game lobby where the stats clearly showed I out preformed him. Funny thing about that was the other team didn't understand why I was so angry and thought I was yelling at them.
