Turn 47

Territory Counts
JSF 9
EFEC 16
SPZ 14

North America
Turn 46 was a repeat of turn 44 for the EFEC Advance in North America. EFEC won Chattanooga but lost Shenandoah. Shenandoah was the PF so the Chat win doesn't count and the defending JSF get defending winners spoils of Pamlico. Now, turn 47 is a repeat of turn 45 where the EFEC is attacking Pamlico.

Europe
The JSF won the assault on Grissom against the Russians so they are back and in North East Europe attacking Rovaniemi Air Base and Scania while Defending Rondane. All three battles are assaults and are against the Russians.

The Russians are also moving towards Paris in an assault on EFEC owned Wilstermarsch.

Current Situation
Update as of 1/20/2009 10:10:25 AM
RUS in Rovaniemi Air Base Score = 55
JSF in Rovaniemi Air Base Score = 45

RUS in Scania Score = 82
JSF in Scania Score = 18

RUS in Rondane Score = 66
[color:YELOW]JSF in Rondane Score = 34[/color]

RUS in Wilstermarsch Score = 50
EFEC in Wilstermarsch Score = 50

EFEC in Pamlico Score = 64
JSF in Pamlico Score = 36

EFEC orders of the day
Take back Pamlico!! At this point the wiltermarsch does not scare me, but if things start to look hairy, get some wins there!

JSF orders of the day - by Artacool
Concentrate on Rovaniemi Air Base and Rondane!!! Due to the colliding frontline rule it doesn't matter which one you win at so play the one your better at.

Once again we have been pushed back from America. I was right about Grissom. The Americans had over 5000 wins just on that map. We didn't have 5000 wins between Grissom and Rondane. So, today we reap what we sow. Fight hard at pushing the Americans out! It might be a good idea to try and explore opening a new front with the Europeans, too. We could catch them with their guard down and run straight for Paris in 3 turns. Its up to you Spetsnaz, feed the bears

The likelihood of opening a new front with the Europeans is very very low. The attack on Wilstermarsch is yet another attack from nowhere. I think the game opens an attack from nowhere when two factions aren't fighting on a map that turn yet. (The primary fronts have the EFEC fighting JSF and the JSF and SPZ colliding, but no primary front involves SPZ and EFEC, thus the game opens up an attack from nowhere involving EFEC and SPZ. I still don't know how it determines who gets to attack and who gets to defend.)
Since it's an attack from nowhere: If EFEC win Wilstermarsch, nothing happens.
If SPZ win, then SPZ take the territory, but will not continue on fighting along that front.

Hmmmm I really don't know why you are posting these TW reprots here, why not just post them on your own site? This way, you can divide the sections so each factions strategy isn't smack next to one another for all to see. And the rest of this info seems like a verbose way of repeating redundant information available in-game or on the ToW viewer or on supad... Indifferent

Winner of the Endwar TeamCompete Tournament!

I'm just curious if many people actually follow this advice. I just picked up this game over the weekend, and I'm trying to find out what I should be doing and where I should be doing it. So, why should I take my orders from you? (BTW, no offense intended.)

Addressing both JAGX and Mr. Dapper, yes this advise may seem redundant and verbose to the more experienced among us that use Supad or Hobo and have a full understanding of the PF and coliding front rules. However, as Mister_Dapper wrote, he is new and is trying to figure out where to fight and put forth his effort.

Personally, I don't think anything we are putting here is secret stuff. Anyone with above average knowledge of how the ToW works will pretty much understand that this is what each faction's move should be and understand what the other factions should be trying to do. Those that don't know should read this in order to get what the majority of us understand already from playing this game in the Theater of War (ToW) daily since Early November.

So, to answer the question of why you should follow this advice, I will say that it is proabably the same advise you would get from anyone with knowledge of the game.

As to why this is posted here and not just on our site. Basically, the more people understand how the ToW rules work and understand what and where to fight, the better the ToW will be. There are some pretty big faults with the ToW that are listed in another thread and stickied. Hopefully, these posts will guide everyone towards a smoother in-game experience. For example, how can we avoid the Chattanooga/Shenandoah/Pamlico stalemate turning into the Okeefenokee/Arrabida stalemate from turn 21 to 42? Hopefully by following the advise I post in the EFEC orders of the day.

Thanks guys. I have no problems answering questions or criticism that is put out there in a respectful manner. I realize that what I am doing may not be popular or understood by all, but hey it's my time to waste! Smile

Thanks and I really do hope this helps people out. That is the only reason the Tactical Warfare higher ups asked me to post it in here as well as on our site. It was a valuable and fun part of our site that we wanted to share.
