I used to think I had it mostly figured out, then at the end of first war on ps3 it all went out of whack, don't even bother anymore trying to figure it out.

maybe that was just the devs screwing with us?

Basically what happens is either one, the territory from which the winning side is fighting from is taken, or the Primary front rule causes it not to be taken, also sometimes, such as raid missions, you arent taking the territory when you win

It's like... it seems to make sense... then it does for a little while then it doesn't anymore.
Part of the reason is because you can't see the real numbers of what's going on, you can only see the coloured bars of each faction. Just cause your faction looks like it's winning one, doesn't mean you'll necessarily keep it next round thanks to the Primary Front Line rule. In my mind Primary Frontline rule is this: If you lose your Primary Frontline match, you lose everything you just spent the whole turn fighting for. Lose that one and you lose the other 2 or 3 or more territories you were fighting for. Win the Primary Frontline, you keep it, and any other territories you won on. If you lost the other 2 or 3, then you only keep the Primary Frontline one. --------------------------- Europeans had no idea America would show up to single-handily rescue them from destruction. It's a mystery. I don't even think the Devs have complete understanding of this Frankenstein of game.
