Im new to end war and constinly get owned by people with upgraded units. Is there a way of making money other than online in TOW?

Nope, there isn't. You will have to be patient on that one and walk your way up little by little.

As you do get money and buy a few upgrades you will notice your credit rewards increase as your rank increases, will get considerably easier with that.

Also keep in mind that the upgrades won't beat the triangle-attack thing... (Choopes to Tanks, Tanks to Transports, transports to choopers) so even when upgrades might be anoying first they don't define strategy. Also try to beat the SP game in the harder dificulties to get ready for MP stuff

As another new player, I'm finding this game very frustrating on TOW. I've completed the SP campain and so can play the game pretty well.
In the long term this will be very bad for the game as the only players will be serious vets who can wipe the floor with newbies like myself and I would imagine most others would to the point they'd simply give up. Take one of the matches I played last night. within 1 miniute the units I've deployed have been spoted by the command vercs UAVs and get MLRS'd by artility wiping them and the uplink I have secured out pretty much stright away. By the time I've got another set of units in play my oponent has secured and upgraded couple of uplinks and has sent over waves of lvl 3 force recon to my deployment zone, meaning whatever I deploy gets instantly killed. This is just one of the many ways I've had my ar$e handed to me on a plate in recent days. The only real chance I have is when a player feels sorry for me and decides to go easy. I think what is needed is either some kind of handicap system so new players get a half decent chance of anything other than total ahnalation, or some kind altered credit system so players who are hugley outclassed by thier opponent recieve an increased amount of credits so they are able to bring themselves properly into the game faster and in turn far less likley to just walk away. |

I remember when I made a thread like this a while back. It will take some time, but eventually your units will rank up,and you'll be able to buy expensive upgrades. Just have patience.

Sometimes it doesnt work like that, Itry to do that but when I figth with my better units the other player detroy them as he see them, so my units with higher ranks are destroy and I have to start all over again. |

Listen...im not the greatest player in endwar but upgrades dont realy do a whole lot. the game is a strategy game. you need strategy to do good. ive had a unit that was not upgraded go up against a 1 star and i took it out. he told me he had almost all upgrades for that unit. its all about strategy NOT upgrades! so quit whining and use strategy over brute force!

Let me guess, you used a counter to his units. No matter how many upgrades you have Tanks will NEVER beat Gunships, Gunships will NEVER beat Transports and Transports will NEVER beat Tanks. If you were to try and beat an upgraded Tank with a basic Tank, you would lose. You'd do some damage to the Tank...But you would still lose. http://www.hasthelargehadronco...oyedtheworldyet.com/
