Has anybody noticed how when the JSF loses at Grissom then loses Springfield, Russia gets Copenhagen and it wasn't attacked? Or is that standard when a territory gets left alone?

Turn 17: the JSF's attack on Rondane fails, so the Russians gain the attacking territory - Grissom - as defensive spoils.
Turn 18: the JSF attacks Grissom from Springfield in hopes of re-claiming their ownership of the base. This attack also fails, so the Russians get Springfield as defensive spoils. Copenhagen gets cut off, and since it is bordered on both sides by Russian territories, the Russians get it. Turn 19: the JSF attacks Springfield and raids Grissom. Both are successful, so... Turn 20: ...the JSF stages an attack on Grissom and Copenhagen from Springfield. The JSF wins Grissom but loses at Copenhagen, but since Grissom, not Copenhagen, is the JSF's Primary Frontline, the JSF doesn't get pushed back (i.e. the Russians don't get Springfield as defensive spoils). Turn 21: has absolutely nothing to do with this topic. |
