Free DLC via PC

A few people have said they disagree with premium DLC for many reasons. One particular reason that sticks in my mind though is that very few people would pay to download it and would therefore cut down the number of games you could join.

I was wondering, if you could get free maps from your PC via Kazaa or WinMX etc and transfer it to your XBOX, would you get the extra equipment required and go via that route?

I'm pretty sure that there is no way to do that. I could b wrong though.

Only way to do that would be if microsoft released the maps, or patch even, on that cd that comes with the Official XBOX Magazine. I think they should do this for those who don't have live, so they can still play co-cop with those who do over a LAN without having to go through a lot of extra trouble.

im pretty sure it could be done via Action replay or such.PPL with modded xboxes are sure to have an easy time doing this also , seems they can put a real op system on the xbox and go on the internet.

yeah you could do this if you have a modded xbox, with the modded xbox you can acess everything on the game disk and onn your hard drive. So one person downloads it then does an FTP between their xbox nd their pc, put it on a web site or something and then other people download it . PEOPLE DO THIS TO GAMES LIKE Splinter Cell and other games with new maps .
