NVIDIA 61.76 + patch 1.2 much higher FPS

1.2p is working for me...I just completely uninstalled farcry, reinstalled, then applied 1.2...then installed latest nvidia drivers..(geforce ti4200 mind you, all settings on max -sound and video- the game plays even smoother...no sound bugs after the reinstallation also

Same here on a 6800gt, in fact silly frames per second more inside , something like 120 fps in doors now, and it was running at 75-80 before the update and new drivers and dx 9c.

I agree. After a little bit of fiddling around, i got the 1.2 patch working on my x800 card, and it works a treat. Tried it with geometric instancing yet?

Mmmm.... X800Pro @ X800 XT (soft mod) and Far cry...
