I am playing GR on a PC, and am tired of compatability problems. Looking to buy console. Should I just stick with PC, or are XBox or PS2 comparable?

i think its better for xbox than pc or ps2 i mean i like pc version but i just like xbox better i have all the recons for pc ps2 and xbox (got one for ps2 from brother) but i stick wit xbox (if you think recon is tight wait for COUNTER STRIKE) but i gotta admit GRIT is a game i will always play no matter what it will never go outa style with all the new DLC coming out
XBOX GAMER TAG
Miniguns
if in case you wana play GR-IT (best on-line xbox game)

I dont have a good PC and not enough money to upgrade or buy a new PC that can handle GR, so i bought an Xbox and XBL and i am glad i did.
#1 GHOST RECON
#2 HALO
#3 SPLINTER CELL
XBOX IS 1000x better then gamecube.
XBOX is 10x better then PS2

well, last year i decided to front the $600 and build a nice box, and i got to tell you, i run all the GRs in ful detail, unlike my friend's PS2 where enemies skip steps at long ranges, and the grond looks like panted wood, rather than dirt. And the ability to use a mouse just, ends the competition.
FUN FACT: PC gold edition cheaper than XBOX GR and GRIT
OUCH!

Actually, most PC games are less expensive than their console counterparts, that is how Sony, Micrspoof, Nintendo make thier money, not on the sales of the system, but on the increased price of the games. My PC has pretty much paid for itself in lower game prices. (not to mention i don;t need a TV, got one inside my comp already, and I dont need a stereo system, got one in my comp, and I dont need a fax machine, nor do I have any use for CD's. In the end the PC pays for itself over the other options, and provides much better gaming experience, that is why Sony got the exclusive Jungle Storm deal, to make up for the fact that the PS2 is a fraud.

I have GR on xbox and love it. I prefer the controller interface better than a PC (and the gauranteed compatibility). However, I think the extra team the PC allows and the modability of the game make the PC a better choice for GR, if you have the option. I had the money for xbox (and was mainly getting it for Splinter Cell anyway-which IS better on xbox, in my opinion), and don't have the money fo a PC.

Has to be xbox, if i had an endless supply of money i would buy a pc and constantly upgrade it so could run the new games etc and then id play GR on it, trouble is i dont and despite the xbox version having some very small disadvantages in game play to the pc it still has great grapics, hardrive, download content and of course XBL. PC on the other hand well its great for gaming if...... u can afford it first of, keep up with the upgrades, then theres all the messing installing the game which rarely goes without a prob, and to be honest i will have to say go to the tech section of this forum and u will see a long list of people with problems and there all PC gamers i think theres only ever been 2 posts on there from an xbox user. So yeh u cant compete with the PC if u have endless supply of money and patience lol, if not has to be XBOX everytime /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Well, I don't have an endless supply of money, I spend $600 on a new comp every 3 years, well thats about the average, and save money on the cheaper games. And while most ppl with comp probs havnt been using the comp for as long as i have, I've been PC gaming for over 10 years, and I know how to defeat many of Microspoofs various mistakes in Windows. Yeah i could spend taht money and easily grab an XBOX, PS2 and some games, but it just wouldnt compare, And doesnt XBL have a monthly fee?

i believe gameplay and how much fun you is a factor not the machinery you use thats inportant. as long as i have fun it dont bother me i still play pac-man its fun no matter what the graphics look like, i mean people these days put to much emphasis on graphics and hardware and forget that its all about the gameplay of course thats my opinion!!

Xbox doesnt charge a monthly fee, there is a subscrpition charge u pay each yr but its peanuts.
As for people putting too much emphasis on grapics etc and forgetting game play, If u have massive lagg the game play doesnt matter cus u cant play anyway. I cant afofrd to run and maintain a pc to the standard i'd need to run pc games and its not the graphics so much that bother me its the lagg with online play at least with the xbox thats not an issue the only thing that affects the lagg is ur connection which it will do anyway weather its a pc or not.
