I'm not 100% sure though since Dr. Nick usually posts some pretty long responses as well.

XyZspineZyX

But aren't their long posts just cut and pastes of articles?

<hr>
--"General Hammond, request permission to beat the crap out of this man." -Col. Jack O'Neill -Stargate SG-1
--Capt. Carter: "You think it might be a booby trap?"
‚ ‚ Teal'c: "Booby?"
--"I'm a bomb technician, if you see me running, try to catch up" -in Russian on a bomb tech's shirt from "The Sum of All Fears"
--"All my life, I've been waiting for someone and when I find her, she's a fish!" -Tom Hanks "Splash"
--"War is not about who's right, it's about who's left." -Anders Russell

They start like that, yes. But then someone will reply to that article point by point. Then, the original person will reply to each point. The second person will reply to those points, and they will stay in that loop indefinetly.

At this point in time I think the longest post I have posted was something to the effect of 47 "page down" clicks of the mouse at 1024 x 768 resolution. And I agree that is pretty long. However, I generally try to be as concise as possible - and at least try to make what I post interesting. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

No worries Scupperman, it happens to all of us. I just assumed you were speaking in Canadian rather than English. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Unless he learned German, Yiddish or Anime in school it might not have helped. Besides, who knows how they actually educate their children in the great, frozen white North. I thought they just let them be raised by wolves or somesuch. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

This isn't the way it's done in the US? Oh, I see how it is, you gun toting hillbillies shot the last wolf years ago and used it's meat to feed the cattle, which would end up on your next big Mac. It's the circle of life doncha know. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Actually, I was raised by lions. And who would feed wolfmeat to cattle? They do much better when feed corn, grain or milk. And of course, Kobe beef does quite well when massaged with whiskey.

Of course, I can't see how anyone can eat Kobe beef. It just seems to so wrong to eat something that has a higher standard of living than you do! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
