Ok, wanna know what i think? I think you should continue to play RS and stop trying to change GR to RS. Small maps? No, GR needs larger maps, not smaller ones. This isnt a run n gun, so no need to make gameplay any faster then it is.

Rogue Spear was an excellent game for its time and genre. However its important to remember that Ghost Recon was never a CQB style game. Making Ghost Recon2 like Rogue Spear would be a huge mistake. Ghost Recon2 if anything should have much bigger maps than Ghost Recon (and of course Rogue Spear), especially since most of the missions Ghosts take on are outdoors.

I do think you're correct in wanting to be able to have "good graphics", and "good performance for slower PCs". Unfortunately the harsh reality of it all is that if you have a "slower" PC then you may need to upgrade parts or buy a new system. There is no need to cry and complain too much. Every PC's day eventually comes.

I understand this all too well. I have a P3 800mhz: 512mb, and TI4600 video card. I do not in any way expect GR2 to play well on my current system, which is why I have accepted the fact that I must do something about it when the time comes.

Yea... ditto.

I think I'm gonna have to spend money on my computer that I would have been spending on my car for GR2. Not that I mind http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif. A faster computer is always a good thing to have http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.
