i still need to learn programming and 3d modeling, i did try once but, its pretty hard when you try to learn such big programs and you have to read alot, i managed to create a can , a five alive can....

the things i know now : html, photoshop, fireworks, dreamweaver, swish, and a few other programs...

I've 3d Max 6, with tutorials, but I don't have any time to spare, so sorry. And of course I don't know any of these things. I only spend a couple of hours in moddeling.

But what exactly does the "scripting" part mean?
I mean, if it refers to getting models in the game and getting them to work I've days of experience and would be happy to join in.

I'd be very happy to see this mod grow to be the biggest of all. (If it will be the best we'll see. Only time will tell.)

and yeh the scripting would be handy if you know how LUA and C++ works but i will know more after the beta test. i think

We arnt begging for people to join op-archangel team only offering you a part to be in a continuos modding team for FarCry.

If we dont get enough offers to be part of the team it will only mean that future op-archangel mod's will be slower to make.

I know polybump too and i tried modeling a character but i m limited by the restrictions of the free version (35000 poly for the high mesh, 256*256 map for the normal map )

I think i'll help u for ur mod but i cant spend as much time as u ..i ve got a job ..
But i ll try making a character if u tell me what u want.

cool to evry body give intrest in the mod i will make a Sign in form so you could post what you like to help whit on the mod

just to explain how FAR CRY works whit modelling and animations

models that are made can be any polycount you like only we say that 2500 is a good count for a carrecter

the animations work whit vertex animations and bone animation and Frame animations of course /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif this can be exported when the game is released and tools are there to export it.

Well there are allot of other cool programs for normal MAPS.. with support for 2048x2048 normal maps... Maybe you can use one of those

well in actual fact... team killers arnt much of a problem, i mean there just playing the game as we on the other hand... are gaming... which could be seen as a career/hobby.

gamers always come out ontop of the players and there for we shouldnt worry about the players causing a problem!

most gamers play on professional servers that are run by professional gamers... the second some one comes in that causes a problem, there out no questions about it!

there for do not argue with the common player its a complete waste of time and at the end of the day... the only words you will get from the average player is...

"your a n00b"
