People's Chioce: Best Gun - Technically?

There have been a few threads relating to peoples thoughts on favourite weapons based on personal likes.

I would like to get an idea on what people think is technically the "best" weapon keeping in mind: overall size, magazine size, zoom, accuracy, recoil, and reload time?

I would have to vote for the G36K. (i'm not a fan of a 2x zoom however, but i think that it excells in accuracy, size, and low recoil)

I think that a best weapon combination would be the most accurate poll, but as for your poll, I would say the G3A3, its scope and power ocmbined are a great asset on most maps.

I like the Famas G2.

It has a low recoil, smaller muzzle flash, and moderate accuracy.

I would have to go with the G36C. It has the 2x zoom, low recoil, good clip size, decent accuracy, good strength and rate of fire. I can pop off 2-3 round burst, but with the Famas, I run out of ammo to fast and the top of the gun gets in the way when not zoomed. Lots of people say G3A3 but the 3.5x zoom is clumsy and if someone is close and running its harder to stay with them. I also like being able to see my surroundings not just 100ft in front of me. IMO the G36C has better accuracy than either the G3A3 or M16. I can snipe on any map with G36C and run and gun! G36C is one of my favorite guns. I started out using the M16 and G3A3 but that big scope really gets in the way when a guy gets up close. Also, it's easy to snipe with the G36C too as long as you know the map. Nothing beats running around with your zoom on and getting easy headshots.

Well I think the L85A would be at the top with some other guns, also I saw in this magizine a picture of this soldier in some europe war and he was using one, looked badass in reallife.

My favourite would have to be the G3A3, th scope can be a bit clumsy on smaller levels but it makes up for that with accuracy and power.

lately ive been playing with the TAR. the scope isn't in the way at all....ive been picking off people pretty nice with it from a good distance. it's my favorite to use now.

i like the G3A3. The only down side is the small clip side. THe power and accuracy are great. I have killed many people through doors with this gun.

The G36C. Here's why;

A 5.56mm round, so it has a smaller recoil. It also comes with a 30 round clip. The G3A3 is a 7.62mm rifle. In close quarters, the gun can (and has) been a problem (smaller clip primarily).

The G36C also is very accurate from far range distances. On Airport 1, I have been able to drop people on the other side of the runway with 1-2 shots. Very accurate in far range. Also very accurate in close range. Aim for the head and one shot will kill a man no matter how much life they have left.

So you know it's accurate, what else does it do? Well, it's powerful enough to shoot through ALL doors. Just as the G3A3, you can kill a man on another side of a door. The only downfall is the metal doors (this takes a few extra shots).

All around, the G36C can be very deadly if handled right. If you're an excellent head shot player, you can get very acustomed to this gun. I have had three friends play a few rounds with the G36C, and they have all said they will never play with the G3A3 again.

My personal favorite would be between 2 guns...in a small place like garage by far the best gun is the G36C....its has a smaller scope 4 smaller place, good clip size, pretty good accuracy,and a good strong gun.....but if you're in a bigger place like Training,or Carny,by far the best is the M16...it has the best accuracy then all the other guns(except the sniper rifles), great strength...and a good scope 2 see enemies further in the distance.

Personally my favorite weapon is a tie between M16 and Famas G2 and to tell you the truth i will never be able 2 pick. On city street, training, airport 1, warehouse, and airport 2, and peaks i use the M16 cuz the 3.5 scope is helpful. and on other levels i use the Famas G2 cuz the 3.5 is just 2 much. Now that is real strategy, not using only 1 gun because no 1 gun is great in all situations.

The Tar-21 or the AK-47. Why? Mainly because my style of gameplay entails more run-and-gun attacking rather than camping in one place. As such, I find that the accuracy while moving is great on both of these weapons, and can zoom in during close-quarters combat without killing my field of vision.

MP5sd5 has the most stat points at leasdt in the PC version.. But since RB6 for console is and arcade game as opposed to a simulation like raven shield who knows.

My new favorite?...the Galil Arm...100 rounds of love and all it takes is for one to kiss you on the noggin...also..i hate reloading after using up 30 rounds...although...i'll admit that i COMPLETELY avoid any open spaces...so don't look for me in any field...*L*

the gun I use? G3A3/6C. My favorite? USAS12. I have killed so many fools who just camp at the end of short hallways (garage, airport1/2, presidio, etc) by just running through and spray painting brains all over the place. By the the time they begin to try and get away/fight back, I've allready killed two of them who weren't quite ready yet. The scope doesn't change size, and it takes a month to empty that clip. When you do, it is one of the fastest reloaders. The USAS-12 was the first gun I ever used in this game with any success, and it's still my (not often used) favorite to this day.

I liked the g3a3 but the scope does get in the way in CQC...so the G36C is becoming my main gun, great accuracy from distance, and 30 bullet capacity.

I like the M4. It's great for close quarters and medium range. It can also hold it's own at long range. For CQB I would use the MP5, but it's too much of a pain in the buttocks with that jumbo scope. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/52.gif

since you will always find me rushing know matter the map, i only use the L85a1 when things really need to get done, if i'm using another gun its cuz i'm bored and just messing around.

Being a rusher the L85a1 is great Its EXCELLENT up close, and its very decent long range. the low recoil is what makes this weapon lethal, along with the little above average accuracy and power
