Brushes don't cast & recive lightmaps from terrain.

At screen you can see what objects (stairs) dont cast lightmaps from terrain.
Do anyone know how to fix that problem?
Function "Generate Lightmaps" not fix that problem. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Have you tried putting dynamic lights above the stairs because in the levels made by crytek I have also seen allot of dynamic lights.

As your whole ladder is inside terrain and completly in shadow, you can just apply darker material to simulate it yourself

Object receive light map (shadow) only to itself.

Shadows won't appear on the terrain, until you regenerate the surface textures.

C3DEngine::MakeSectorLightMap: Requested image size is bigger than size of current renderer window. This problem will be fixed in future releases.

Maximize you Perspective Viewport (you can by double clicking viewport titlebar for example)
And then regenerate again.
Also check that your brushes have Cast Lightmap checkbox enabled, if you want it to cast lightmap.
It depends on viewport size,
If you make it big enough this error will go away.

I again have this problem.
But now i don't see any error windows =(
I can't ubderstand - what i should do to make shadows from brushes? Maybe i don't turn on somthing?

Try checking the "RecvShadowMaps" checkbox in the Entity Perams, i have no problems with lighting/shadowing
