Hi,

I just bought SC:PT the other day, and I've been looking forward to playing multiplayer. I am perfectly able to log in with my ubi account. However, after typing my CD Key correctly, I click on OK, then I am presented with the message, "Checking CDKey, Please Wait...", about ten seconds later, the message, "Ubi.com is currently not available please try again later", appears. I am simply unable to get past this screen. It doesn't make sense that It is unable to communicate with the Ubi.com servers, if I can successfully log into my account EVERY TIME!

Singleplayer works perfectly, and without any crashes or problems whatsoever.

I can create a LAN server just fine and play myself, however I have nobody to play on a LAN with.

Other games I play that use Ubi.com servers (Rainbow 6 3), work perfectly.

This appears to be some kind of communication bug with the game.

And just to avoid useless suggestions:
My system exceeds the Requirements.
All drivers for my motherboard, video, sound, directx, etc. are up to date.
I am not behind a firewall, or a router.
All ports required by the game are available.
I have patched the game to v1.31.

Don't be afraid of the shadows, be afraid of what is looking back at you from them...

Try the v1.31 patch and make sure to disable firewall software, or open the ports needed to make it run.
