Hi

I've been up in the two elevators (so know where linking book is), mapped both levels, and cannot for the life of me find any pages.

I would welcome a spoiler as I have been in this age far, far too long.

Please help. Thanks.

There's one final level, and it's up. Can you find the stairs easily enough? Look around there.

Don't worry -- you're almost done with Channelwood!

Ahh. That final elevator. I thought it was strange that I wasn't using it. The only problem is I can't get to the staircase to go down, the gate is shut. No doubt I'm missing something obvious again.

NB - I mean I can't get past the gate on the upper level to go down the stairs. (Or up from the bottom of course)

I've tried looking around the area at the top of the staircase, but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Yep. Look somewhere else http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Oh, alright, I'll be serious!

*digs out old Channelwood maps*

I count 13 little huts on this level. One of them has something you need. How many are on your map? If you keep getting them mixed up, try giving them names like "hanging baskets" or "many pots on shelves" -- can you tell Channelwood had me stumped for a LONG time when i first played? And that was long before this forum was around...*sigh*

Thanks PrincessX.

I've checked my map too (thanks for digging your old one out - you must have been very persistent without the help of this forum) and I have 13 huts too.

I will try again (haven't got time just at the moment), but I felt like I'd clicked everywhere - especially on the pots. At least I know there is definitely something there to be found!

I don't know about you, but when I'm searching I find it's easy to end up changing direction instead which is frustrating (and confusing if you are in a round hut!) I did write the odd bit of info about some huts down. I might try writing down a bit more.

You can see the gate at the top of the stairs off in the distance when you are standing in the hut you need.
Can't help better than that - lost my old maps http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Cheers MystMum,

I remembered getting a good view from somewhwere and went back to there. But this time I discovered a lever!

Part of my problems with this is that I use an armchair with my computer and am sitting a long way back from the screen so I can miss things. I don't have to do much typing and so I'm leaning forward to do this, but that's too uncomfortable to spend the whole game doing. I missed the lever in the fireplace for some time doing that.

Mind you, I haven't sussed out that machine thing on the top level of channelwood yet, and that's just me being slow! No doubt I will be back at the forum soon to ask more questions.

Thanks all.

Dear All:

Greetings from the Great White North!! I hope this finds you and yours well.

Might I ask where I can get some of these maps? Sorry to interrupt your conversation!!!

Salome.

You're not interrupting -- we were done with that a couple of weeks ago http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

As for the maps, I suppose there may be some out there, but Mystmum and I are just referring to ones we made as we played the game. None of the ages are really that big, so they're not too hard to map yourself. And it helps you play the game, too.

Mind you, I think one of the books on the bookshelf in the library has a map of the huts on the first elevated level of Channelwood. It shows the hut with the lever linked to the stairway with a dotted line.

Kim,

The lever is below a window in one of the treehouses. You just have to find out which one. Hint: you will be able to see the area at the top of the stairs through that window.
