First i thought silencers would be 2 good now.... but the balance is pretty good! Ok the stability increase is a bit 2 much on some weapons IMHO. But no worries as the range, recovery rate, and damage decreases.

Supressors are usefull now, but not 2 usefull Nice work!

P.S: Maybe it's a good idea to add some more penalty to the l85a1, g36k, styer aug and mp5sd in the future. As these weapons can have a silencer + scope.... wich is pretty damn usefull. And of course remove c-mags... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif Just my 2 cents.

The silencers actually do too much damage now. If you look in unrealEd they are still almost double the power of the SMG 9mm's, which is too powerful. Also, the way the character damage models work, the silenced assult rifle kills with the SAME EXACT amount of bullets as the same non-silenced assult rifle out to like 200 yards. I tested it and tested it...unlike UBI.

But.... a 9mm SMG has a better recovery rate than any..... or almost any silenced AR.

I believe that you tested it.... but when i play raven-shield i notice that im way more lethal without a silencer.

But.... what they could do is DECREASE the stability increasement that you get by adding a silencer, to make the balance even better..... and a slightly lower recovery-rate would be nice also. Then it would be perfect IMHO... but of course everyone's opinion will be different.

Hey.... nothing is perfect... i think the silencer balance is pretty good now /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif Maybe they should be a bit less usefull now... but it's ok imho.

Now for the C-MAG balance.... if it would depend on me they would be completely removed from the game.... but i guess that will never happen. I think C-MAGS should have more penalty....... like a bigger recovery-rate decreasement and also less stability increasement.

I think 50% is way too much.
It's like we went from one extreme to another.
MP5SD is totally useless now /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif I would even say
that all SMG's are not a great choice now and they should be
the best choice for CQB.

i dont like how adding a silencer to the l85A1 is a built in no recoil hack, especially since it has a scope. same with adding a cmag to the gun, which unfairly has a scope, one attachment per gun UBI or 2 attachments for all... how stupid can u guys be? i think guns should recoil in this game the same as default always, attachments adding to stats is just ******ed.

Yes... true..... the stability increasement from adding C-MAGS or a supressor is WAY 2 high.... especially for the L85a1 and g36k... etc...

Personally, I think the 50% minimum is too high. A 35-40% Minimum would be better, and it should give more stability.

Even if I agree with you in theory that all guns should have the same amount of attachments - I am tired of hearing how unfair one or the other gun is (L85A1 and H&K G36K mostly) if they are so superior then just use one of them - DUH.

If you do not want to use one of those super guns - it must ultimately be because you believe that they are not the best.

Just pick the gun that suits you and be happy.

turbo, if u cant see how unbalanced the 3 guns that can have 2 attachments are, then i dont know what to say, granted... other guns do have built in no recoil hacks as well when u put a silencer on them BUT they do NOT have a scope as well, this is unbalance and needs to be fixed. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Yup.... this needs to be fixed.... By decreasing the stability and recovery rate when u add a silencer or c-mag.... I mean decreasing the stability increasement..... and just decreasing the recovery rate.... get it? /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Maybe also penalize the standard weapons with built-in scopes some too.

My point is simply: You can choose freely between the guns, they are not limited to one side - therefore they do not really affect game balance that much. If they were so superior everyone would be using them.

You have the choise.

As you hinted at, all guns are unique - thats why its fun having so many models in the game.
For pefect balance RvS should have only one gun type. But I guess that is not what you want.
If they were all the same it would take alot away from the game.

Basically I see your point, but I do not consider it a problem.

I am perfectly happy with my FNC+Scope, even if some guy uses a G36+Silencer. If I thought that it was unfair I would simply choose a G36 myself. (I do actually like the G36 but I never used it silenced yet - I dont think you would want to do that in real life.)

Remove C-Mags from all guns and silencers from Assault guns.
