New player here, WOW!!!

I have never been a fan of the 25key + mouse shooter games. I have tried all the clancy stuff, and just could not get into it. I am a racing game freak. Some guys at work been pressing this game to me as they have always done with shooter games. Finally i got it. I must say this game is friggin' amazing! I remember playing games of this type for PS1. Tomb raider, and resident evil. Then i got a PC, and purchased Tomb Raider and with a 12 button controller i still need 10keys. I can actually play a game without having 6keys that call my squad in to do the killing for me. I can actually play a game with a mouse, and about 7keys (maybe a few more as game progresses), but atleast i dont need a seven key macro setup, or a keyboard overlay. Thank you Ubisoft for making this game. I love it. Its the good ole' days with superior graphics. Heck, if i turn the lights out i get scared. LOL

I have one, but find myself having no need in this game. The Nostromo N50 doesn't give me anything I can't do almost exactly the same with a good keyboard layout. I use my Nostromo when I need to macro actions together in other games, this game really doesn't benefit from it.

All very nice and handy but the game has been designed to be played with the keyboard.

Your not going to get much advantage out of changing from a keyboard to a N50.
You'd be better off practicing and saving the money for a new GPU which will give you higher frame rates which means less jerks.
A smoother PC will always make the difference to your aim.

you will find that you will be able to enjoy most games of the fps type with a similar set up... generally i can get away with 7 keys and my 5 button mouse... lol
