Pixel shader 3.0 pah !

The 9800Pro runs Farcry super sweet, mine does all the graphics setting on very high and the gameplay is smooth.

I used to be an Nvidia fanboy, then I wanted to get a new GPU and almost got a 5900 but the whole 5xxx range was just no where near the 9xxxx ATI range apart from when they released the 5700 ultra which is a good card for the pennies, uses nice fast memory.

I have seen the new videos showing off pixel shader 3.0 and yes it does look nice but c'mon the general rule of thumb is hardware is developed and about a year later games actually decide to use it. Take T&L back in the day of the Nvidia Geforce 2GTS it wasn't utilised for ages and then only in some games.

ATI and Nvidia will both be producing some fantastic cards in the future, god knows what will be the NEXT generation after the 6800 and x800 but it will sure be nice.

Who dares wins.
Who camps loses.
