Hello, I think my mod request are a bit on the program side, so I don't think Sandbox can cover it. Anyway, I'd like to request it anyway, because I don't know how much FarCry is moddable:
1 Player character should emit a stencil shadow. That means if you have a light shining in your back you should see your own shadow in front of you.
I guess you could make this by making a Jack Carver model standing in you with a transparant skin, and have the model act out your key presses and have the engine render a shadow for the transparant model.
2 Stencil shadows should react to the flashlight you're holding. It's nice to see that shadows disappear whe you shine your light on it, but a new stencil shadow should emerge on the other side of the object because you're shining a heavier sourcepoint of light.
I just think this would finish of the already beautiful Far Cry. It's just a request, so if you think it should be easy to do, give it a shot. I believe the mod will become popular real fast.
