ok we did that, didnt work. We are not connected anyway but internet, not network. There has to be a way for us to play with it just being us two. We start servers and they never show up on others pc.

If you want a LAN game then the 2 PC's have to have each a network card and a crossover connection. The LAN must be setup correctly, but no shared internet connection needed. What i wanna know is how have you and your neighbor got ur pc;s connected? The other way is to setup a server over the internet and connect to eachother via the net. However, setting up a server isnt easy when PB gets involved

My friend keeps keeps getting a runtime error when he tries to join my hosted game over our properly connected LAN.

Anyone else have this problem?

He can otherwise run the the game fine but after he enters his CD Key and is about to join he gets that error and booted back to the desktop.

Are you using latest version or 1.1?
