Yea well a couple of days ago i had a complete computer crash and i had to reformat. Well i ended up losing every thing that i had. So the first thing i went to do is reinstal RvS...well everything went perfect until the last part...i'm not sure wat all happened all i know is that i went to start the game and it said that i needed DirextX8 or higher....so i went n i dled it....it said the same thing once again....then i reinstalled like 20 times n installed dirextx 8 and 9 like 20 times....but i'm still getting the critical error on dirextx
Does any1 know wats wrong....i would really appreciate any help nesscary....

Post the exact error message along with your dxdiag and I am sure somebody on here will be more than happy to help you!

well at the top of the box it says critical error.....then it says Failed to finalize 3D hardware. Make sure DirectX 8.1b or greater is installed on your system....
