Opinions about SC3

I don't know about you guys but I think Ubi should have waited a little longer before announcing the BIG BOOMhttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif
I've heard that this is going to be the most advanced game that Ubi has come out with, but, They didn't give enough time to fully enjoy Pandora Tommarow then they all of a sudden out of the blue say that Sc3 is coming out. Pt was released Like april I think then one month later
"Hey SC3 is is a sure thing have a nice day"
I still think they should have waited like two more months before annoncing that there is a Sc3. Now the magical feeling of wanting a game has now been compleatly obliterated because I didn't have enough time to get over Pandora Tommarow.http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

yup, plus you still have alot of time to enjoy SCPT before SC3 comes out. and they wouldnt want to miss out on annoucning the game at E3, its too big of an event, and only happens once a year.

I do see your point Sopot, being as Pandora was released less than 2 months ago ... and I bet this news has to be driving the PS2/GC users crazy as they don't even have PT yet. (please no one trigger a console war from what I just said) However, like Sadono said, we still have plenty of time to enjoy PT, even those who will be enjoying it for the first time in July .. hell I'm still enjoying the original, which I got in December. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

the moment you guys would have gotten bored of PT, you'd all be like "When is SC3 coming out?!"

well, now you dont get that change

and like scworld said, us oldies have known about SC3 (which we thought was SC2) longer than we did about SC2 (which is PT, which us oldies DIDNT THINK was SC2 but in fact IS SC2)

LOL ... I think it was lead to believe 2 years ago that PT was more like SC1.5 ... and this upcoming game was to be titled SC2 ... which now we see that the upcoming IS SC3, which means PT is in fact "SC2."

At any rate, I agree tenfold w/S7N ... people would get burned out on Pandora and be like "When is the 3rd one coming out? Will there be one?" Well .. this answers those questions, and I think its release is perfect timing, because by the time those do burn out on Pandora, SC3's release will be just around the corner.

Chaos Theory seems a little quick for the ppl who entered the SC world in PT. I'm sorry, but
imo the single player PT is just a very good
add on disc. I definately felt the lack of the
Montreal team there, with the exception of the
Jerusalem level.

i havent gotten over any splinter cell yet.im glad they r bringin out scct like this.i jus hope they already started on sc4.we splinter cell fans dont want to wait a long time for it.but since ubisoft says that scct has alot of replay value and the new co-op.we sould be caught up in the game more than the others so far.

Yes I agree .... I felt a big lack of the Montreal team in Pandora Tomorrow as well, Jerusalem included. The SHANGHAI team, however, did an outstanding job on the singleplayer. Hell the only bugs in the singleplayer are the ones flying around the light fixtures in Kundang http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

But I'm a hardcore SC fan, and have yet to get tired of either SC or SC:PT ... though I only got into the first one this past December (when I finally got an Xbox), it was love at first sight. i think UBI anounced sc3 so soon after pt was because they realised that PT in many peoples opinion was quite weak single player based so they anounced sc3 to keep us hanging on the sc series
