well lets hear them:

GHOST RECON 2: for it's promising action packed but very cool theme. hopefully we'll see alot of updates from GR1 which was still superb. right now, there's not much info on this, so i just hope we'll see some good progress in the near future....

Homeworld 2: i still play this every now and then(because it's the only game worth playing that works on my laptop when im on the road). the new features of HW2, like building seperate components on the Mothership, individual turrets, having damaged sections not the whole ship itself, the new units, the new very cool, very dynamic graphics, and the music for HW1 was superb!!! plus, the imagination and the story was unbeatable. even the little details like docking the ship, repairing from little sectional ships, frigates, carriers, interceptors, harvesters and their support ships... oh *drool*, i think i'll play a little HW right now...

Half-Life 2: eh, im an extreme GR fan, and while GR has a higher place than HL or CS to me, if you saw the trailers and stuff, HL2 was simply amazing. the new gravity effects, the lighting, the new characters' appearance, the dynamic setting... wow... if there's a new CS mod for HL2, i think it would be seriously, a killer.

Starcraft 2: who knows when this will come out... but it will... someday... you can depend on it...

I'm waiting for Halo on PC (I think it comes out in September), Ghost Recon 2, of course, Homeworld 2, Breed, and Tribes: Vengeance. The new Tribes game is scheduled for a 2004-2005 release, though.

Homeworld 2 is going to rock.

If you like space games, I suggest you get Earth and Beyond. It's an online RPG(which means you have to pay monthly), but it is well worth it.

This game is awesome.

I don't know, I just checked out Soldner, looks pretty cool. Interesting (relatively) story line, and pretty cool looking airplanes. We'll see when it comes out, huh? But I think that Breed looks to be the best new shooter coming out this year, for PC at least.

GR 2 for sure .. votes still out on many of these comming out soldner sounds promising .. but I am sorry it looks horrible. the SS's I have seen so far are not doing anything for me.

COD I really like but there are some things in it I have some serious mixed emotions about will have to wait and see when I can get my hands on some MP.

Is there anyone besides me that would love to see a WWII shooter that is based on GR or the R6 series before RVS type gameplay .. ie a no health pack more realism based game than those that are out here now? CoD looks fun .. MOHAA was neat .. once but I wonder how many would jump on a game with GR's play style set in WWII?

I'm with you there... I rekon I could run around shooting dinosaurs in a game that had GR's gameplay.... well maybe/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

GR's gameplay is what sets it apart! There is nothing else like it and it is a hard act to follow.

I really don't think we will ever see GR2... console games dominate the market, sales wise. Why would a developer develop a game to cater for a niche market when for the same outlay you could gaurentee a profit developing for mass consumption consolers... have you seen some of the cr@p available on consoles... at the end of the day it's what sells that counts /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Check out Ubi sales rankings at Amazon, I know thats not the be all and end all of how GR sales are going, but it will give you a good idea... also check out the number of posts in each game forum... that will tell you something...

I keep hearing first part of 2004 for GR2 but I doubt that entirely .. or we would allready be seeing stuff from developers .. even given Ubi's record for dealing with its customers .. the would be trying to set the hook in gamers allready ... I think we can all agree on that.

Game mags would have it .. you would start seeing more of it here on the net in game sites .. ect ..I have seen nothing on GR2. Not one official announcement at all. Has anyone else seen anything "official" If so post it here along with a source as well so we can all get the same info.

Yes a lack of info on GR2 is scarry, if it was due for release within 12 months, or at least in some kind of concrete form in the development stage, we would have heard at least the start of UBI's PR machine wetting our taste buds.

There is no real maketing advantage to them [UBI/RSE] in keeping it quite, it's not as if it may reduce the sales of an up and coming expansion pack for GR.

Maybe they think we'll all pick up RvS and buy the up and coming ex packs for that, milk RvS for all it's worth, which at the end of the day is their business!!

I was dissapointed with the RvS demo and have not bought the full retail.... but now I think I will, I need something different.
