For those with routers and two (or more) computers who want to play SC:PT online with a friend AND if you ever gotten a Server Validation problem when joining a game on one of those computers then here is temporary fix.
First off, get both computers to the login screen. Then unplug your router (so it resets) and plug it back in. Wait tell the router has configured the IP and roughly log onto UBI at the same time. Me and my friend had this same problem, but doing this seems to fix it. Have fun and hope this helps.
Keep in mind this only works for one session of the game (or it seems so) so you'll have to do this multiple times.
