View Full Version : Having a major issue with the Disc version of Trials Fusion on PS4

I bought the game at Gamestop and it was supposed to include the season pass and 5 items for your rider and bike (Proud Hero Outfit, Crater Hazmat Suit, Thrillseeker Rhino Helmet, Fallen Angel Bike Upgrade, Light Up The Sky Bike Upgrade). Even the booklet inside the game says that's what the code is for. I redeemed it and the PS4 says it was downloaded successfully but when I check in the game none of those items are there and there is no check mark by the season pass saying I even have it. As far as I can tell the game thinks I haven't got the season pass activated. What am I supposed to do?

Im having a similar issue, redeemed both codes but it doesn't show up that I have the season pass.

I'm having the same problem also. Although i'm probably sure Ubisoft or RedLynx knows this and will probably resolve it in a few hours. I hope. :(

Seems there's a fair few people having this issue. The fix should be the same for everyone, someone just needs to actually tell us what it is.

Yeah I'll add my own voice to this lot. Redeemed all the various codes from the retailer. The outfits have registered correctly but the Season Pass hasn't. It's there in 'My Add-Ons' but the actual Playstation Store says it's still purchasable at 15.99 and the game doesn't seem to suggest it has worked either. On PS4 as well so hope that helps. I'll submit a ticket as well with a link to this thread.

I'm sure we all have. I'm the manager of a technical support for one of the top 10 FTSE100 companies and any delay in response like this would cost me my job. I guess the French working week is working against us here. I'd have a more prompt response talking to Jesus right now.

Lets not start posting veiled insults..

The support team - are regional.. so if you are in the UK - you get a UK team - same as the US get a US team..

It's possible some people have redeemed the codes in retail [disc] based games - before the season pass went live at approx 3pm UK time - in these cases, it maybe an easy fix [redownload the season pass again from the stores history - which I am assuming people have tried] - or - it may need Support to action something else.

The forums are not a dedicated support area, we have a specialist team for that - they maybe very busy, however most people have a quick response - however if contacting them out of hours, then I can only ask people remain calm..

If people simply post - and it's something Support have to action on an individual basis - then I would not be doing my job correctly, if I didn't ask you to contact them directly..


I'm glad you have - so hopefully support will fix the problem for you in a timely manner.


I would double check if you can re-download the pass, and see if that works [if you have not already]

Just posting to say I have the same issues with a retail copy of Trials Fusion. I did send a support ticket and hope it will get fixed soon. Shade you cannot redownload it from the PSN store it simply will not allow you to do so without paying $19.99

Yes same issue as well as my friend on ps4. Tried reinstalling the game and resetting licences. Still don't work. Can't reinstall season pass from library and store try to charge again. Opened a ticket but it's probably a waste of time.

Why can't games company's release a game that just works...

If you can't see it under your 'library'

Scroll right to 'Library' - choose the game and then scroll down to 'my add ons' - it maybe listed there - this is where most things live you have already downloaded

If it's not there then it seems it may not have registered the code correctly against your account -


So please allow support time to investigate and get back to you on a individual basis.

There is no re-downloading the season pass. It shows up on the SYSTEM that it is downloaded. The retail GAME doesn't recognize that it's there.

I agree with what others have already said about releasing a game that is clearly broken from the start. This isn't just a PS4 problem because an XBOX ONE buyer is having the same issue so it's clearly a problem with the disc (retail) version of the game and the sooner RedLynx/Ubisoft actually acknowledges there is a problem the sooner it can be fixed. The fact they are keeping their mouths shut and not saying anything says all I need to know.

I have the same issue. I also had the same problem with the ps4 version of black flag but support sorted it quickly. I'm sure they will this time too.

They are investigating the problem - but it's still important you all have connected them personally, incase they need to issue new codes etc to those affected.

I've been talking to your support via the link you gave, and all they have told me is that 'IF' the problem is resolved, the solution will be posted on the website???

So i'm expected to pay AGAIN for the season pass 'IF' it isn't resolved?

Not just retail copies I have the deluxe version downloaded from the PS store and it also asks me to buy the season pass when I clearly have it with the deluxe version.

Getting the code to redeem was never an issue. Getting the game to recognize that it's redeemed is still not working. It's so great that Redlynx/Ubisoft is busy fixing this problem with all the official people commenting about the problem (sarcasm)

As above posted, redeeming the code isn't the issue, it's the game not recognizing it's redeemed is the issue.

Yep same no reply to the ticket submitted .

I returned the boxed version to the retailer today (game uk) for a full refund because I didn't get what i paid for .

I will say it again fed up of game releases that need to be fixed with patches or unanswered report tickets. why do games company's get away with it ?

Same issue with the PS4 version for me. Had a similar issue with a couple of other items on PSN before and after contacting Sony support it was to do with items being for sale that weren't technically set up properly on their end. Once they were sorted at their end they were redeemable from my account. Give it a week and if there's still an issue contact both Ubi and Sony. Sony support is pretty good my way so i'll be calling them first if there's still a problem.

I already spoke with Sony.
My season pass is showing as redeemed and installed on their system, so the fault is totally in Ubisofts side of things.

Thought I'd chime in and say I'm also having issues. I bought the physical copy of Trials Fusion from Game UK and I'm having the same issue of Trials not recognising that I've redeemed the bundled codes, despite them appearing in the 'My Add-Ons' menu below Trials Fusion in the PS4 menu.

I've contacted Ubisoft Support and I've received the same copy and pasted response that everybody else has received. Just wondering when I'm likely to get the content that I've payed for?

I've had a reply from support. Oddly it asked me what time I redeemed the code, wasn't aware it was time sensitive in any way. Nice that it's now in the Known Problems, and hopefully it gets sorted soon.

i just had a live chat with them and they said this 'There is currently an issue where the Season Pass content is not yet available in the store. We are aware of the problem and are currently looking into it. We do not yet have an ETA on a resolution, but we hope to have the issue resolved as soon as possible. Once the content becomes available, it should automatically download for you.'

I bought the game launch day at a local gamestop and tried redeeming the code the code was accepted and downloaded and installed the season pass. But when I play I have no access to the suits and the season pass box is unchecked I am also present with the a PS error message that says quote There is no content, It might not be for sale yet or might no longer be for sale. And if I try redeeming the code again via PSN it says the code has already been redeemed .:confused::confused::confused:

My Sony account shows the item as purchased (which is what Sony support will see), but PSN is reporting it isn't there I have seen this issue several times before on PSN. Insist on escalating the issue if the support person is only following the script. I wouldn't panic just yet and of course there is no harm in contacting Ubisoft support as well.

For those moaning about not having the content they paid for: other than the Hazmat suit the rest is due out in the following months so you're not missing out on anything yet. Just have a little patience with them.

This is pretty pathetic honestly. You would think that since this game is so heavily dependent on selling as many season passes as possible that they would make sure that's the first thing that worked correctly and make sure the online parts were smooth. They have failed miserably on both accounts.The entire launch day was basically lost because the servers didn't work and since then they have gone down at various times due to "heavy load". How much is heavy to them...about 5 people? Pretty much every single issue that people said could go wrong with how they set this game up has went wrong and I can guarantee they won't care and will double down on this type of scheme the next time.

Not sure why people are getting so worked up about it. Mine didn't work, my AC IV Season Pass didn't work at first either but I'm not ranting about it. Let's say that you bought a brand new car and as you were driving it home after picking it up you realised that the radio/CD player didn't work. You go back to the dealership and they tell you 'oh, must be an issue with the CD player manufacturer'. You contact them and they say everything looks ok, so you go back to the dealership and they say 'thanks for logging this with us. We'll escalate it and get back to you if it's fixed'. I'd imagine that you'd be pretty annoyed - you've payed for something that you haven't received, even though it doesn't have any effect on the car's operation or your enjoyment of driving it.

I liken this whole season pass/DLC to that scenario. Yes, it's a small issue, and I agree with people when they say that season pass content isn't even available yet, but after paying double the price of the standard edition I expect a code to work when it's redeemed. Especially as you say that the season pass for AC IV (another Ubisoft game) didn't work at launch so it seems that this is a recurring problem.

I have every confidence that it'll be fixed. My issue is it shouldn't have to be fixed.

The AC Season Pass was actually a Sony issue in the end and while it sucks that something doesn't work I'll take it as a Season Pass at launch when it makes no difference to something else major. I think people demanding their money back, especially from Retailer's who've done nothing but sell a sealed game they were sent by Ubisoft is not helpful in any way. It shouldn't have to be fixed though no. I do think with games like Watch_Dogs and The Division on the horizon it does make me question buying season passes straight away for them.

So I can only guess Ubisoft is tired of new tickets regarding this issue, as I have tried twice now to create a support ticket about this issue only to have a "problem with the support system" dump my attempt to create a ticket each time. Below is the body of text I tried to submit in the support ticket I was unable to successfully create.

My season pass code packaged within my retail copy of Trials Fusion was accepted by the Playstation Store, yet none of the content I was supposed to receive with it appears in my game. I've read about 5 pages of infuriated customers in your forums with the same problem and have now gotten rather frustrated with the situation myself. I trust the issue my eventually be resolved, but making paying customers wait outside of the launch week of the game seems at least unethical, possibly criminal. It's things like this that have lasting impact on consumer faith in game developers and publishers.

Apparently the devs are incapable of getting something as simple making sure the game recognizing the season pass to work correctly. Shifty or someone else will come in here and tel you to open another ticket...then another...then another.

But hey, let's all have patience while the devs keep working...which after a week and still no fix means absolutely nothing

We are aware that PS4 players are having issues redeeming their Season Pass content and we, as Xhane said previously, are working with Sony on finding a solution. Until that solution is in place there isn't much we can communicate on this issue other than "We are working on it" which is certainly not what you guys want to hear.

You want the season pass to redeem correctly. You deserve that, as you have purchased it, and we are focused on getting the content that you have paid for made available to you. The fact that Sony shows the season pass as being owned means that you will get your content. We apologize for the inconvenience and we will pass along information as soon as we receive it.

Same I have tried contacting Ubisoft and Redlynx and none have got back. The Light Up The Skies Body Kit is showing for me but thats the only thing from the deluxe edition coming up.:confused:

Into the second week now and another day goes by without any fix. With the PC release/weekend coming up they will be focused on their 24 hour "this game is so great and there aren't any problems here" propaganda (aka livestream) so there won't be any update until next week at the earliest. I'm close to just trading this back in and washing my hands of this game. I paid $40 for a full game, 5 extra items, and a season pass. So far all I have to show for it is a broken, incomplete mess of a game, no items showing up, and a season pass that the game won't recognize as redeemed.

Also, why has there still after a week not been anyone from RL/UBI to come on here and actually explain what the well is going on? I think people have had enough of the "we're looking into it" excuse. Someone needs to come on here and lay out exactly what happened. They need to stop hiding behind community managers and mods and actually tell people what they are doing.

The season pass isn't showing up correctly for PS4 users. We are working with Sony to find a solution. I know it's not the best answer, but that is what is going on. Until we have more information it would just be a different person saying "We are working with Sony to find a solution". It's not an excuse so much as what is happening right now.

The people who run the livestreams are different teams than those who are investigating and fixing reported bugs.

I wouldn't panic just yet folks - as I've said this before - I have personally experienced this same issue with other items on PSN and each time it happened it was resolved within several weeks. I am 99% certain it's a Sony issue and they have to honour the transaction so I wouldn't worry at this point in time as there's no content to redeem anyway. Feel free to be annoyed if the problem is still occurring when the DLC packs start rolling out. All we can do is lodge our support tickets with Sony and Ubi and be patient at this point in time. Getting worked up will only result in making oneself feel like crap at this stage.

Yeah I can say from previous experience that for some reason Sony have picked an odd way of doing season passes on PS4 (maybe PS3 as well but I wouldn't know not having had one). The 360 system of a small licence file was best. I'd say it's to do with this over anything else and now it'll be a case of Ubi/RL trying to communicate to Sony of how to now get our Season Pass file out of 'My Add-Ons' and into the 'Services List' where it should be.

With Sony working on getting the big PS4 firmware out on Wednesday, i can't see them spending much time on this problem.
Fingers crossed i'm wrong and it's fixed by Monday, or i'll have to return the game before my 14 days is up for a refund.

Shame, cos the actual game itself is good, it just seems the support and the people 'working' on getting this problem fixed are getting nowhere.

The Trials Twitter account said a possible fix has been found but they are waiting to implement it. Why the wait? No idea. This is no longer a Sony problem because they have done their job and told RL what to do to fix this. This is all on RL now to get this done. However long that takes.

Also, so much for the mods/community managers/devs keeping us up to date on this situation on here even after countless posts saying otherwise.

I guess they need to test it in a lab before it is implemented. Not that it matters at the moment as there is no additional content available. I am sure it will be fixed before the DLC is out

All I'm going to say is that, if the season pass has still not been solved by the next big Sony update. I ask of Ubisoft to return the $20 to my PSN funds that I paid for the "Invisible" Season Pass... I like the game but I'm not fully getting what I paid while you guys have made close to millions on a game that has promised only half of its full $40 deal!

Everyday I wake up I check to see if there has been a fix... LoL.

...another thing I noticed is the lag and slow loading of the game... Especially when you choose our bike/quad. Next gen, eh? I love the game, but the bugs and slow loading are frustrating. Can't wait for more updates.

i cant wait for the season pass to get resolved.. whats funny is after the ps4 update i now can see the season pass for purchase in the playstation store.. but when i go through the game it still cant find it...

i cant wait for the season pass to get resolved.. whats funny is after the ps4 update i now can see the season pass for purchase in the playstation store.. but when i go through the game it still cant find it...

I just got the Trials Trophy last night... and unlocked extreme. I don't feel like playing the game anymore... if I knew there was a problem this bad, I would of stuck with the 19.99 purchase. I am sure going to tell everyone I know to not waste their money with Ubisoft in the future... I should of known from the complaints from Trials Evolution.

Like you.. before the update, the add-on only showed downloaded... now after 1.7, it shows installed. Guess what? It's not working. I think if i deleted it and tried again it would not download and the code will say it's already been redeemed. Buggers.

I just logged in and it came up saying I had unlockrd the crater hazmat suit and now the season pass is saying purchased, looks fixed!

Yeah when I got on this morning I also got the Hazmat suit. Where did you see it saying purchased though @emcee? In the in game store it still didn't say anything new. I checked though and the hazmat suit was available for me to wear so some sort of progress was definitely made last night.

Update: just checked in the actual PS Store and yes there it says 'purchased'. Won't know for definite until the first Content Pack comes out but looks good so far.

Checked mine this morning and it's still messed up the same as before for me. If this is supposed to be the fix then I guess I was left out of it. At least others have their content but I guess I can now officially say I wasted my money if my copy isn't going to get fixed as well. Again, I have the Gamestop version and that code was supposed to unlock the Season Pass and the Proud Hero Outfit, Crater Hazmat Suit, Thrillseeker Rhino Helmet, Fallen Angel Bike Upgrade, and Light Up The Sky Bike Upgrade. None of that stuff is working. None. Even with this apparent "fix".

Still in the same boat... I just checked and it is still showing 19.99 on the store, no Hazmat Suit, same buggy errors... I'll check back next week. This is my last Ubisoft game.

Did you purchase the online version of the game or the retail version? I have the retail version with a redeemed code. It says installed, but no hazmat suit, etc..

As I understand it, the issue is currently being isolated and fixed. While this is nt necessarily new info, it means there is progress on finding and fixing the issue. I would imagine there will be an update once the fix is found, fixed and tested to ensure that nothing else is adversley affected and the fix works 100%.

I give up on this game. That "possible solution" from last Friday has now turned into the usual "we'll have an update soon." Shifty, what happened to that news on updates we were supposed to have "very soon"? I'm tired of the almost 3 weeks of lies and getting the run around from tech support. Enjoy my $40 because it's obvious I will never get what I've paid for. You get one story when the mods/PR spin doctors post on here, one story from Twitter, one story from tech support, and another story when you call so I'm done.

The level of support and communication for this and all of the other issues has been pathetic.

Ok, I guess I'll jump in here too. So I bought trial on launch day (retail copy Ps4) , redeemed my season pass and nothing ps4 shows it's redeemed trails says I still need to pay for it. I've been reading the forums, tried to open a few tickets (keep getting an error when I do). So I haven't checked in a few weeks an it looks like its still has not been fixed. Did I miss something or are we still in limbo with this issue?

I'd just write them off as a lost cause, to be honest. Anyway, when I fired up the game just now, having pulled down a title update, the Season Pass is showing and behaving as purchased now. Fingers crossed for everyone else!

Mine appears to be fixed now, just updated and got a message saying Thanks for Purchasing the Season Pass. The Season Pass in now ticked when pressing L1 at the main menu

Im having a similar issue, redeemed both codes but it doesn't show up that I have the season pass.

What do you mean by both codes? I only ask because I bought the disc as well but only recieved season pass code and still dont have the proud hero and thrill seeker rhino suits plus fallen angel andlight up the skies bike upgrade.

Finally after years of waiting haha just kidding but after weeks of waiting the season pass finally redeemed itself, got the green check mark. The problem now is that I only got the hazmat suit not all the other accessories that were promised, I guess now I'll have to wait a few more weeks for them... :confused:

Same here. Only the season pass is checked and hazmat suit unlocked.

It would be nice if we first get what we paid for and then get something extra for having to wait for it. This is the ugly side of DLC and retailer exclusive preorder content. You hold it in front of us as a carrot to get us to buy things at launch, but now you haven't delivered on that promise. We have no recourse as a consumer in these cases. I would have liked to use the special skins on my first play through of the game, but now that had been taken from me. I know it is just a skin and it is not a major part of the game, but Ubisoft can't make a big deal about it when they are trying to sell us the game and then turn around and act like it is nothing special when they can't deliver it.

Believe it or not but I was really excited to get all of the extra fancy stuff that came with the season pass when I purchased the retail version of Trails Fusion. All of that excitement died when my Season Pass code did not redeem.... I really hope Ubisoft gives us something extra for all of this wait, even though they fixed the season pass and a few things are still missing. I hope you guys understand that all of the "Hype" surrounding the Season Pass vanished a few weeks ago, as I've completed every track and location all there is now to do is beat previous records to achieve gold or platinum medals and try out tracks on track central... You only had one job Ubisoft which made you more money! :(

I see Ubisoft does not care about their customers. 1 MONTH AND NO REPLY. I also have a ticket in with support that they haven't responded to. What is my next course of action? I can't return the game and get my money back because it isn't broken...just missing content. I still don't have my pre-order bonus content.

I'm very frustrated too. The only reason I got the game was the extra content the retail got over the digital copy. Had I known this was going to happen, I would have just paid 19.99 and forget about the DLC. This is definitely my last game from Ubisoft. It's crazy, because the UK gets all those things free with their PS+ membership. I see no reason why it's working there and not working for us retail guys in the states.

Has anyone been able to get the pre-order content to work yet on the PS4 disc game? Ubisoft has my ticket "on hold" and I still don't have my content. This is immoral and probably criminal as well. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to turn to for help in this matter? Would the BBB help at all?

Wow, we dropped the ball on this thread. Sorry about that. If you go to the PS4 main menu, navigate to Trials Fusion > Related Items > My Add-Ons does it list the preorder content? If so, does it show it as installed?

Edit: If this is not showing, and Ubisoft Support isn't answering you, please PM me your Support ticket number, and I'll do what I can to get it sorted for you.

I show "Trials Fusion - Riders of the Rustlands" and "Season Pass" but the pre-order content does not show. For the longest time the Season Pass didn't show either, but that was fixed in one of the first patches.
