My roommate doesn't use xbox live and we system link to play through missions. Now we can't since we have differant versions? Any way around without him getting Live. If he gets live my connection goes to crap, I don't want that.

Put your xbox live account on a memory card, then connect his xbox to the net just like yours is, put the game in the room mates xbox and select your live account from the memory card and download the patch, that should work and you can do system link again.

Ok go into your XBOX dashboard and go to hard drive. Find the XBOX Live account info data file and copy it to the card. Put the card in the other box and copy the info to hard drive. Then download the patch. This may or may not work.

The best way to do it is to go on the box that doesn't have live. When asked to create a new account for live, click on "Account recovery." Then fill out your info to transfer the live account to that box. Then download the patch. Then after this go through the steps again on the other box to transfer back (might not have to. Not sure because I've never done this). It should be similar to that. May as well download garage and carnival while you're at it. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

You have a good point though, and I hope UBI will address this issue. Maybe release a cd with garage, carnival, and the patch on it. I dunno. It is a weird situation.
