Where do I put my 3 symbols?

I have found the amplifier on the flower bridge, the levers and push thing in teh garden house and 2 green buttons in the lift which don't work when the lift is up. Do I have to adjust the under the lift to get the other green button to work? Any hints as there must be many combinations if I start tinkering.

in the central tusk. did u go up in the lift while saav was still in there? if u did, he would have shown u what to do. u need to get the egg shaped frame up, open and the bridge out to it. just fiddle around with it.

I went up there right at teh begining of the game. I think he used some water from the bowl? But how?
