Far Cry Unbordered

I have a great idea for a FarCry mod. But sind i don't know anything about programming and modding i just need some people who do know about it, and want to turn my idea into a mod.
*maybe my idea is impossible, but i hope not*

The mod is called FCU (farcry unbordered)
It's a MMORPG. Different teams each own an island or a couple of them. They can trade weapons and vehicles, or kill eachother and take over more islands.
Because of this, many wars will be played out, and a lot of corruption will take place. For example: "Team X says it will trade 50 guns and ammo with Team Z. Team Z wants to meet at the island of Team X. Once the trade is complete, team Z abushes team X. Team X was expecting this, and so team Z gets slaughtered! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/784.gif!

But ofcourse not everyone will be killing eachother. 2 teams can team up, to try to become a huge cartel, and later takeover the whole area.
Like these idea's many other things can take place, like team trators and spies ect ect.

i deffinatly think that is probably one of the BEST ideas ive ever herd for a mod. I am extatic!! I hope this gets picked up. I just started using that Softimage XSI thing and am learning to model, If I could be of help (in a couple of months) I will deffinatly help!

its a good idea but also one of the hardest. creating an mmorpg from an fps game is pretty hard to do. gl to any1 that whants to try this

Sorry to burst your bubble pal, but that is the worst http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/crazy.gif idea I have heard in a mod for a FPS. You obviously havent thought it out one bit. What your talking about is only suitable for a MMORPG and not a game such as FarCry. It simply wouldnt work and be extremly boring to say the least. Your idea probably came in a flash of thought when you were exited about getting your copy of FC, as did your post about it. Sorry to slam you for your idea, but its a terrible one period.. Not to mention the fact that people underestimate the work that needs to go into a MMORPG, and what's required to run such a type of game.

Nice idea, as others have said tho, converting Far cry into an mmorpg would be incredibly difficult.... could possibly make it as a smaller 32 person mp mod if you scaled back the idea slightly http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I thougt i was clear about that i don't know nothing about programming and stuff. I do know it's a lot of work. Bet maybe i can be done...

I played JumpGate and looking forward to play WOW.
The things i explained that could happen, do happens in Jumpgate! So,I respect your opinions, but don't think i don't know what i'm talking about and that my idea was just a brainrush.
