The other day I was playing Rainbow six 3 and as my team and I stormed into a room the game flickered and then reset to the title screen and I lost all my progress on that mission. I don't know why it happened but it happened two other times. does someone know what is up with that?

I don't find that it takes away from how good the game is. It's just a pain in the ***, especially when you've got the key to the last objective in your sights and poof you have to start over.

I also am having this problem.
Once during the import/export mission. Then 4 times in the Meat packing plant misson.
In the Meat packing plant misson it is in the same area everytime too.
I go into the area where the first hostage is at. I hang behind the boxes using my nightvision taking out the terrorists and then it just crashes back to title screen. Only 1 time was it different. In that instince I was handcuffing the hostage in that area.
I have tried everything and nothing works to correct it.

Ok I think I know for sure what is causing the lock ups. Each time I locked up I had been using nightvison. So I went and tested it with thermal, regular, and nightvison. Sure enough only when using the nightvison did it crash. So I am sure this is a bug somewhere in the code.

i'm not there yet
i've had the blackout screen reset problem once before
but i've also had a problem that after i create an XBL game i couldnt invite any friends - every time i tried i got an "internal error" message - restarted the xbox and it hasnt happened again

probably a glitch, maybe it was a certain tile or area u stepped on

This keeps happening to me. It happened once on Alcatraz and so far has happened 5 times on Meatpacking, I've gotten past the second hostage the 3rd time before it reset, and I've had it reset while using thermal, so its not only nightvision even though every other time I have been using nightvision including the one time on Alcatraz. Its really iritating me as I can't beat that level because of it.

I'm glad to see it's not only happening to me. I was about to bring the game back to get another, but I see it happens to alot of people. It hasn't stopped me from finishing a level though.
