rainbow six 3 headset or xbox live headset?? you choose!!

i have bought the rainbow six3 with headset pack.

i was wondering what youse think is better to use on the game ?

the headset you get with the game in the pack .. or the xbox live headset ...


i have found that the headset that comes in the pack with the game works much better than the xbox live headset... but i would also love hear all you guys thoughts ?????

sorry, to tell you but the only way that i know of gettin the special rainbow six 3 headset is if you buy the pack that has the game and the special headset in it...

well if my mom didn't get it for me for Xmas with the headset and it doesnt come seperate looks like i'm out of luck cause i don't have Xbox live either

I just wish the R63 headset had a jack on the end of the cord so I could plug it into my standard XBOX Live controller piece instead of using the R63 plug in on the end, which is permanently connected to the cord.

I am planning on splicing the end of the R63 headset soon and putting on a gold plated 3/32 so I can use the XBOX Live official communicator controller plug in, with the orange volume knob on the side and all. The actual R63 headset is a lot better though. Luckily I like having my earpiece on the left side of my head since it's permanently there on the R63 version though..

My RS3 headset dosent seem to work on live. That or no one is talkin. Anyone from syd wana have a game who has a headset that works?

When you first set-up XBL you choose to enable or disable the chat function or whatever you need to put in your last digits of the credit card to unlock it and go to enable, I had to do this cause when I did it I had no headset. Located in the XBL main settings.

personally I use an in-line Cellphone mic... clips around your ear, feels a lot like a tactical Mic

I bought a solo live headset from Game for 19.99 works great for live and for RS3. Didnt want the full live kit coz i got the 2 months free trial with the game.

as far as head sets i bought mine at a gamestop and its the XBOX live head set other then my daughter breaking the piece off that holds the ear piece to the head piece ive had zero problems. i know that madcatz makes a headset for live but ive heard that its really crappy. never even seen a RS3 headset.

When you come to play you better play hard or My boys and I will hand you a death certificate everytime!!!

When you buy the starter kit though you get 12 months subscription and the live headset (which is better in my opinion, more comfortable and I don't get complaints of a buzzing noise anymore). You can extend your 2 months with the the starter kit but if you just go for the 2 months then pay after that, its going to cost you â£4.99 a month for live.

12 * 4.99 = 59.88 - Starter kit = 39.99

I know which I prefer for value etc ;o)
