My System:
Compaq Presario 5000
Windows ME
Processor: 1 Ghz Athlon
RAM: 256 MB
Video Card: AGP Graphics with Direct 3D
Sound Card: Creative Audigy card
Hard Drive: 30 GB with about 5 free

Install went well and I immediately loaded and installed the lates patches.
Then I tried to run the game.

It loaded through about 95% of the horizontal purple loading bar, then crashed and re-booted.

I tried lower res graphics and tried again.

This time the install ran through the purple horizontal loading bar and then showed two grey polygons and a white one and HUNG.

I then rebooted and lowered the graphics and sound settings as low as I could and tried again. This time the game loaded but the mouse was jerky, movement was slow and jittery, and there is still no sound.

What am I missing?

"AGP Graphics with Direct 3D" dosen't tell us much. Do you by chance know how MUCH memory is on this card? It's possible that you only have 16 megs of memory, or that the card shares memory with your system, which would not be adequate for this game.
What other games do you play on your system?

Awaiting your response.
