blank white screen in perspective window

For some reason when i switch to perpective window to edit, the window goes blank. If i move my mouse around in it i can tell that its running becasue you can click randomly and sometimes select something. All of the other wireframe views work fine. I was wondering why i can't edit from perspective. i got a 5900 ultra if that makes any difference

Did you start a new level before you started editing? If you start generating terrain, without starting a new level from the File menu, and defining the size, you will get a grey screen in the perspective window like you describe.
