Stupid SPADS Camp!

I can't plant the bug in the general's tent in the level where I'm supposed to be all stealthy. I've fought my way thru the stupid camp probably 10 times or more and every time i plant the bug the alarm IMMEDIATELY goes off and my game ends.

Can anyone offer any advice on what to do? Am I hiding the bodies in the wrong places? I've hidden them in several places! Should i not kill anyone? Should I plant the bug a specific way? What am I doing wrong?! I'm tired of going through this level!!!!!
