I picked up CDS II last night at Eb. So far, it's improvments are very noticeable -wepaons, sounds, graphics, lighting, animations, etc. Gotham did a nice job of touching the game up from the previous one. However, it could still use alot of work. Graphics get the job done, but could have been alot better, but they are way better than the first game. Also, you can cook off a grenade in this one, which I think is nice.
Controls are the same, however much improved. The aiming reticle is alot better also. The one thing that really stands out is the sounds. CDS II has some great sounds, even the gun sounds are hella improved. The A.I. seems to be sharper as is the intelligence. Everything in terms of controls, commands, etc are the same though, so if you have played the first game, you will have NO problem picking this one up and going to town. I like it really well, it's much imrpoved over the first one, and alot more fun. If you liked the first one, you'll live this one. Pick it up!
