i been in the house of gems and killed the mages but did not get the ring of calling,any help Thanks

Did you pick up the skeletal arm? If so, the ring of calling is attached to it. If you have not already done so, you should now go to the Diviner and obtain the Word of Oblivion to free the ring.

you must go to still water and talk to the dwarfs inside the hide away and read their book.

And if you dont have the ring of calling you must go to the halls of light and retrieve it.

Those are actually elves in Stillwater. The Diviner can be reached by the use of the Rhonglyn teleporters in the Dwarven Dungeons. I believe that the link to him is the blue stone.

Odelinde is not accesible through the Rhonglyn room. You may be thinking of the Orrery spires.

Yeah it is the light blue stone that takes you to the Hall of Wizards.
