I've heard some talk from a lot of different people about the benefit of using 3rd-party drivers for my video card to increase performance (rather than using the ATI versions). I've tried the Omega drivers, but they slowed down my video to an unusable state (even using my start menu took several seconds to appear).

Does anyone know of any decent drivers that I could use that would improve performance?

- ATI Radeon 9600 128MB DDR
- 17" Dell
- SoundBlaster (basic ****)
