Regulator & "junction"level...?????

I have found all 3 keycards.Inserted them and turned off 2 "junctions" and also 2 "wheel's" for steam.When I press"tab" it shows I still have 2 junctions to turn off....Whats the trick?????

The junctions have to be turned off in the proper sequence. First when you enter
the room where you turned off a wheel. Then go forward and around the corner
to the 1st junction. You get a yak with Doyle saying "first". Then go back
the way you came in and to the area with gas bottles. Turn off the wheel
there, and go down that hall. The 2nd junction is straight across the hall
from the door .. again yak with Doyle .. "second". Last, the 3rd junction
is across and up the hall from the 2nd. Watch out, fast Merc in that room.

Has anyone figured out what the wheel in the control room does? It is not needed to complete the level but it will burn you if you touch it too long.

According to the editor, that fitting has a proxim. Trigger that
1. starts the 'turn' animation and steam
2. triggers sound
3. begins a -10 health
So, your right. It does nothing but burn you.
